So I want to get another storyline going now that we know ME 3 is going to happen, and one of the ideas I'm conisdering is to bring the philosphy and ideology of General Shepherd of Modern Warfare (voiced by Adrmial Hackett) to the character of Commander Shepard himself.

Basically, how the story through the General's eyes would go like this: He's a earthborn, war hero, and originally believes that humans are underestimated by most of the other species. That is why, he would display a more paragon side towards human allies but try as hard as possible to isolate aliens (renegade).

However, when he lost nearly half his crew on VIrmire, Shepard develops a cynic view of the galaxy, wanting to restore the power of the humans and his status as the best officer in the Alliance military. In the mission to defeat Sovereign, he willing sacrificed the council to show off the might of the human military - thus placing humanity atop the Galatic power.

So for ME1, what decisions should I make to showcase this plot?

-kill Tharnoptis and Shiala
-kill Council and place humanity on top
-save Feros colonists

That's all I can think of.

Honestly if you think about each choice and keep in mind what Shep's current goals & attitudes are you'll be fine.

Choices like the Rachni could be debated. If you let them loose then you potentially let out a race that can expand quickly and can be a difficult foe for even a united galaxy. However, if you believe they are succeptable to indoctrination or similar, then letting them go to build a race of pets is dooable [stupid high risk for a strong potential reward]
