 Hey all,
I bought Mass Effect 2 a week ago (great game), but now I come to realize that my game (It says value games on it) has no Cerberus code, just a serial. On the back it says "Includes Cerberus Network Card"... Yes, I bought it new. The starnge thing is, when I bought it, the man at the store took the case, opened a drawer, and took the serial papaer and the CD out of the drawer and put it into the case. 100% sure it was new. What's up here? Is it on the disk maybe? Should I go and complain?

Nevermind, contacted EA support and they fixed it.

I tried to contact them as well but they did not want to help me. They said they couldnt vouch that they helped you and can only help me if I purchased it from ea directly (which I did not).

EA is the offical support channel to go to for things like this. These are user to user support forums, and thus we cant do anything.
Who did you purchase the game from, was it new, and did it mention it came with a cerberus network code?
