I don't have a problem with that cause of each plot from both male and female and the 3 classes. =)

The thing is in Bioware titles there is always a difference sometimes small sometimes big, between female and male playthroughs. So it's not worth discounting playing each to see those differences. With removal of race selection in DA2, it already shrinks the possible differences in playthroughs so might aswell milk it for all it's worth.

It's a game not RL, plus its offline so its not like you'll get "special treatment" from other ppl like MMOs 

Plus, the male voices are kinda boring....

I prefer to play as my own gender because i often build my charaters, atleast somewhat around myself. However, sometimes, i just want to play as something else, something new. I can't do that with male characters, even when i try, i always fall back into what i would have done in any given situation instead of what my character should have done. But it is different when i play a female character. For some reason, it makes it easier to actually roleplay. Also, it can be quite fun and even rewarding to see the world through the eyes of the opposite sex. You should atleast give it a try. Who knows, you might like it.

Gender confusion and sexual orientation has nothing to do with it. It's just a stupid sterotype with no basis in reality. I do not wish do be a women, i am glad i was born as a man. And i have never doubted my sexuality. I am only attracted to girls. It has always been that way. I think i would have found out a long time ago if i was gay or bi.

haha. Question. When you're on the ground rubbing up against other guys wrestling, do you ever get a woody? I don't know. It's just some wrestler friends of mine told me it happens to them and all wrestlers. Seems kind of weird to me. I think I'd be uncomfortable in that situation. What's your opinion on the subject? Does it make you feel more manly or less manly when a guy is grinding on top of you?

Same question basically.

It's because we like to pretend that we're someone else than ourselves, it has nothing to do with sexuality (for most people i think, not for me anyway).

Personally I like strong female characters in litterature/movies/games and when I get a chance to play that type of character I tend to do it.

What actually sold ME for me was that I saw that you could play both male and female (I missed the hype since ME was Xbox exlusive at first).
I play both male and female characters, but since you seldom get the chance to choose, I like it when I get the oppurtunity.

Male charcters are a dime a dozen in videogames.
