Nonsense. What with all the uninspiring buildings and landscapes in DA2, might as well look at a female Hawk's ass to wait and see how long it takes before she throws out her back from all the hip swinging.

But that's just me. I try to keep myself entertained in whatever game I play. "I'm afraid I really am that shallow."

Well i can´t know. Since the only other participants in a threesome would be Ashley or Kaidan I didn´t even try. Wouldn´t want to even *touch* these (except to hit em over the head maybe), let alone sleep with em.

Ahaha, I was the same way. Didn't have the slightest interest in Kaiden (for obvious reasons) and Ashley wasn't romanceable for my FemShep, not that I was interested in her anyway.

All of the LIs make it plain that you're to tell any other possible suitors exactly who you're going to choose. There's no Jade Empire option of choosing both (although that's weird for a whole other reason).

Point taken. Still, a rather peculiar reaction. I've yet to meet a woman who wouldn't be put off by that.

If I play a video game where story takes a back seat or there's an unvoiced protagonist I'll usually play a female. It's mostly because I'll be spending 90% of the game staring at my avatar's behind, so it may as well be an "attractive" one right? If I play WoW or any MMO you bet my avatar's sweet-ass I'll be playing "a chick".

But when story maters and there's some strong voice acting I just don't relate to playing as a female. I have yet to complete a game as FemShep. My first DA:O play through was a female City Elf because I absolutely loved the origin story, but at the end of the game I really wanted Morrigan and couldn't have her. Since then all my DA:O runs have been males.

When I do play females they're never straight either. Thats why I'll never see a Fenris/Anders/Sebastian romance. I've tried DA2 as a female and I just don't feel connected to it. I miss sexy armor I guess!

Liara isn't a human female so she's not got the same view of personal interactions as we do. She also has had very limited contact with people, and humans in particular, so she may not even know that a threesome is not a generally accepted thing in human culture. 

Speculation aside, I don't understand the appeal of it either. I'm a one woman kind of gal though.

I can easily create and play female characters in the same way that I can easily create and write female characters.

Unless you think it is more masculine for a novel to be a sausage fest.

I like to think I am secure enough to play as a man, a woman, a robot or even a car when I play games. Admittedly there is little room for character development with a Dodge Viper.
