Ichigo is not a girl. Although you can translate his name as Strawberry if you don't see it written.

Guys who choose to play as women in RPGs are the kind that like to dress up in women's clothing. Probably dressed up in mommy's clothes when they were kids, etc.
There's really no reason to roleplay as a woman unless you like pretending to be one.

It's funny because he's got the name of a girly anime character. A character who is also VOICED by a woman.

A guy who likes pretending to be a woman and calling out others of his kind. NICE.

haha, this is a girl name? I don't think so. I'm not familiar with what anime you're refering to.

I play as female characters in RPGs cause I'm bored of playing as a male character 24/7 in real life.

Why are you using manga character nick ? Do you feel more MANLY ?
Are you pretending to be cartoonish-like in real life.

Good Luck then. Comeback when you grow up a lil bit.

I don't read manga. What manga are you referring to? And how are people criticizing me for supposedly reading this girly anime or manga when I don't know what they are talking about, but they somehow know what manga/anime it is? Hypocrite?

It seems people are somehow offended by the notion they like to dress up as women when choosing to play one in a game as opposed to a male. Truth hurts I guess.

Don't worry OP when you get older you'll reach a point where you realise you don't have to prove your manliness to others, we were all hormonally challenged adolescents once.

I had to bang my head against a wall for 2 hours to bring myself down to a level I can communicate with you that allows you to understand me. In the end if your an adult, might I suggest you act it. You really have done nothing more than make yourself look bad/ignorant here with such comments. I hope for your sake you was joking around because if not.. I feel bad for you. Image IPB

Aww shucks, where do you find these gamer guys in drag? I've been looking but all I ever see is black T-shirts and washed out jeans and such. I'd kill to find a guy who'd wear a dress and heels to play some DA with me. Maybe I'm just really unlucky.:crying:

Seeing as how your post isn't a series of grunts and crotch-thrusts, I would have to say you've failed.

I guess so, unfortunately there is a limit to just how low I could go. I only hope it was low enough.

I don't know. It was a study done on Fox News, about cross dressing gamers. They were able to prove that male gamers who played as women instead of men were more likely to either dress up in women's clothing or have done so in the past.

Judging by how many guys here admit to playing as women, it shouldn't take long to find the guy you're looking for.

Ah good, Fox News. That established paragon of spouting utter nonsense every chance it gets.

Not to point out the obvious, but according to that lot, playing computer games also makes you a violent sociopath and rapist. I'm relatively sure I'm neither of those, too.

I always thought that playing as a guy is GAY.

[/sarcasm]

In all seriousness, I am actually more wondering about people from Bethesda games who always seem to dress their avatars in the "porn star with big sword/gun" fashion. Take a peek at Tesnexus if you don't belive me.
Woman = object, much in there?

Well as I found out with bayonetta, it does sometimes pay to be staring at a curvier figure for the tens of hours you invest in a video game.

Really? Can you let me know what I'm confused about, then? I tend to play female characters more than male and I'd be real interested in clearing up any confusion I may have. I'm sure my wife and kids would appreciate it as well.

I tend to play female characters when available, it doesn't bother me when they're not. I'm not gay and I don't wear the wifes clothes. It makes a refreshing change from all the macho BS in a lot of games.

Ah you must be a pinko gay transvestite liberal then, I know this because I saw it on Fox.

Doesn't gender confusion usually happen when you're a kid or teen? So I guess a kid (boy) plays a game and selects the female character, then he thinks that it's normal to dress like a female, and thinks he's a female. Leading to gender confusion.

I mean several people have said in the forums that they have had kids play DA2 even if it's rated M. I think it makes sense that this happens.
