Hello,  
i know i can not import my character from origin,  but i can import  my savegame for the decision.

still i'm asking myself,  if i was a female elf mage in origin, do it matters that i play a human male warrior in da2,  will i still be able to import my old save game from origin?

because i have look at the skills of da2 and they seem really limited, and i dont think i will enjoy the mage in this game, so i think i will play warrior.

No, it doesnt matter at all. In DA2 you are playing Hawke - and Hawke is completly diff person than Warden.

You can import your save from origins and play warrior this time without any troubles
