Just wondering what people's least-favorite N7 assignment is. You can find a list here.
I'd have to say "Mining the Canyon." Following a YMIR for a few minutes and inserting power cells once in a while isn't particularly fun. Not compared with shooting or puzzles.
Second place goes to "Endangered Research Station" for the overly simplistic puzzle to get the station activated again.
Third place goes to "Blood Pack Communications Relay." You know, the one that takes place in the green fog. Somehow my squad always seems to get lost or run ahead of me <_<
Worst of the N7 Assignments?

N7: Hahne-Kedar Facility
that one is always the least fun for me for some reason.

Definitely the crashed freighter mission - 5 min linear parcour without the ability to save and a 30% chance of getting stuck in mid-air just before the terminal. Edit to add: It also highlights Shepard's inability to think in three dimensions (i.e. climb stairs without going into cover)

It's hard to narrow it down to just one, but I'd have to agree on the "Mining the Canyon". I find myself wishing I could just fastforward, or get the stupid YMIR to walk faster. A close second would be MSV Estevanico, it's very tedious navigating that rickety old spaceship.

The mission where it was like,"Hey, man.....could you go to that platform and press that botton......We can't reach it."
So pointless....

The MSV Estevanico, or the "parkour mission" you reffered to was awesome in my opinion. I mean not gameplay wise, but the surroundigs were just so beautiful.
To answer your question, it's either "Mining the Canyon" or "Endangered Research Station".

Have to 2nd both Mining the Canyon and Endangered Research Station (and they're right next to each other to boot!)
Estevanico is at least cool the 1st time.

Personally Endangered Research Station doesn't really bother me considering it only takes around 30 seconds.
Whereas the absolutely horrendous foggy crap that is Blood Pack Communications Relay and the mindless nonsense that is both the Wrecked Merchant Freighter and the Hahne-Kedar Facility is much more irritating.

I love killing things, so Wrecked Merchant Freighter was one of the best N7 missions for me
Can't leave that place until everything is dead.

Difficulty wise? Probably either the Save the Quarian or Husk Mine missions. Those can so annoying on the upper difficulties, especially if you didn't bring the right squadmates.
Tedium wise? The YMIR escort mission takes it. It's not just that it was easy, it took too long and served no purpose.

Its so difficult to choose, so Id probably have to say....
All of them.
Just because they have more flash environments than ME1 that were recycled to the point of insanity doesnt mean they are any less boring.
You have to wonder what some of the devs were thinking with some of those missions.
I mean the ME1 missions were awful in design, but at least I remember good moments like the setup by haliat, and dealing with toombs etc.

Hahne-Kedar is worse than the Wrecked Merchant Freighter IMHO. It's like a husk rush, except they move very slowly. And instead of groans, you hear "Intruder detected!" and "Proximity alarm!" Zzzz.
The mission in the middle of that sequence isn't so great either, even though it seems to be a setup for "Overlord."

All the fighting in fog missions (Blood Pack Comm & Geth Weather Station). All the never ending waves of enemy missions (Husk Mine and Protect the Quarian). Other than those the rest were either interesting, fun or so short as to not warrant further hatred...

Lame negative thread. At least represent both sides as some missions polarise the community so asking us only what we don't like will give skewed results.

It would seem that some missions, completely lacking combat, interesting environments and story relevance, have no redeeming value whatsoever.

Some of these terrible missions would have at least been bearable had you squadmates talked at all.
So Tali, what do you think about the VI going rogue like an AI? Or what about this downed Quarian ship, any input on Quarian emergency protocol? No? Mkay.

I agree with the last poster about squadmates. This game could have been improved big time with lots more talking. I missed being able to click on squadmates like in the last game and have them say something. I just did the N7 Blood pack communications relay and found it horribly buggy.. Right at the end my two heroic companions (Garrus and Grunt) turned around and hauled butt all the way back down the hill leaving me to fight the end guy all by myself. Thanks guys. (I also got stuck once and had to reload.)
I loved the Estevanico mission though! It was fun and nervewracking and an interesting change of pace.. and it was short so it had no time to be tedious.
