Yeah, I was just wondering, I just turned on my xbox and started up DA2 and it came up with an update prompt. I let it update thinking it's the big 1.02PC/1.01Console patch but then I noticed it's only 3mb, when the pc patch is 21mb. Now, I've never gotten an update prompt for DA2 before and supposedly the big 1.01 is the first update for it, so is this that patch or was there something already out?

nope. 1.01 is old patch. there is 1.02 patch out but only available for PC now - not ready yet for consoles users

No, 1.01 console IS 1.02 pc. And I think this is the 1.02 pc because I just went back to an old save and didn't get the whole Merrill quest glitch.
