Okay, so, a fair bit of this was my fault, although I honestly feel that the problem would have been avoided if everything had been further clarified when I purchased the game.
Okay, so to start with, apparently I had an EA account from 2008 that I had completely forgot about. So, I purchased and picked up Mass Effect 2 today, and was setting up my Cerberus Network info. I made an EA account, forgetting I already had one, and redeemed the code. Afterwards, I realized I had forgotten to link my gamertag to the EA account. So I quickly rushed to do so. The problem is, my gamertag was already linked to the old account!
Is there anything I can do, or is my code lost forever? I was really looking forward to playing the new content as I have played Mass Effect 2 in the past, and I'm hoping there's something I can do to remedy this because I cannot afford to purchase the cerberus network seperately.

Definitely an issue you will have to take up with EA support. If you know your account info I think it should be easily dealt with. Explain to them what the problem is and they should be able to rectify the situation for you.
