Apparently exploding corpses, electro slide closing attack animations, ketchup packet blood splatter effects, disjointed story, and a somewhat charming dwarf.
Since we were talking about the story and reactivity to choices, none of those things except possibly "disjointed" actually applied to the discussion.
I actually have the exploding corpses disabled through a mod. The closing animations I've described in many posts, even before release - usually with a graphical aide:
(Too Slow/Stupid)<------(DAO)------|Mytical Middle Ground|------(DA2)------>(Too Fast/Silly)
Though I'd prefer the middle ground, if I had to choose between too fast or too slow, I'd pick too fast. It doesn't shock me others would prefer too slow. It does shock me whenever anyone describes Origins as "realistic" or "gritty" though.
The blood splatter I have turned off, as I turned it off in Origins. Hell, Mount and Blade did it better than both games.
The story was fine to me, no more disjointed than Origins which took place in very disconnected places (Orzammar vs. Redcliffe vs Brecilian Forest) and has a boring big bad villain.
And Varric was bloody awesome.
That being said, I'm entirely sure you meant to mock any positive points of view - probably because you don't have the perspective necessary to accomodate points of view that are different from your own. Don't feel too bad, most people have this same handicap.

You gave a fitting answer to yourself, it seems. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/angel.png[/smilie]
Indeed.
