This is a running topic that BioWare is currently aware of. Since numerous topics have been made on the issue, I thought that I'd simply start a thread that is now in the proper place. The Xbox 360 now has its own technical forum, which should make it very easy to keep track of this issue. If you have been affected, feel free to say as much. Also, understand that this is not a place to whine. Chris Priestly recently posted information, stating that the issue was being addressed. Hopefully, this thread can be used to keep those Xbox 360 owners who have been affected up to date.

if you level up while fighting the rage demon, before heading to the shrine in the Warden's Keep, then you will be locked out of the rest of the keep because a door does not open that you can not pick.



i tried sending an email to Bioware's customer support, but their answer was GARBAGE at best.

I have the achievement problem. (They show up here, but 3 of them that I got before Nov 6 do not show up on xbox.com)

I'm just replying here so I can track the official response easier.

I'd really appreciate it if BioWare could come up with a hotfix that allows us to Re-Unlock previously unlocked achievements.

i just finished the SHALE-Quest the third time with my third character and the achievement is still locked. I did the quest the first day (think nov. 5) and the achievement unlocked but with the glitch. i recovered my GT and the achievement was gone... 2nd playtrough: NO UNLOCK! 3rd Playtrough: NOTHING! I got all other 3 DLC-achievemnts without any problems but the ROCK AND A HARD PLACE is STILL MISSING!! Can someone official do anything about it!!! Its annoying! ...but DAO is still a great game

I've been unable to unlock any of them through multiple play-throughs and account recoveries, i might try deleting all game data and starting a fourth character, has any one else tried deleting all data and seeing if that will reset it?

I don't think new play-throughs will do it, lets just wait until they fix it I guess, I have to say this issue has been around for quite a while and hasn't been resolved yet. : (

DO NOT recover your account as an attempt to fix the issue. It could only potentially make things worse depending on the fix that is eventually developed.

Yeah I recovered my account and it removed them locally so the only record of the achievements are in the community site, they are not listed on my gamertag anywhere but since I can't unlock them it "might" mean that the information is in the gamertag but because of a bug it is not giving me credit.

Rock and a Hard Place is glitched for me. Luckily I missed The Stone Prisoner's secret achievement the first time through.

I'm waiting on a fix for my Warden's Keep achievements, silly me for diving right in and playing launch DLC!

In the meantime, I'll go for 100% completion on Assassin's Creed II, so no rush.

What really sucks with the old forum closing, is that it had the *only* thread where we actually had Bioware people talking to us about it. They gave us 3 good updates in that thread, ranging from looking into it, to needing volunteers, to at the latest thinking they had the found the issue. Then forums close the next day and we're back in the dark again. I really hope they find this thread and talk with us here too. Just nice to know what's going on...

I got the Wardens Keep achievements before the first fix. They showed up but the score was not reflected. Later I got the Stone Prisoner achievements post fix, they worked fine. I then recovered my gamertag and tried the WK again on a new playthrough (not showing up, not unlocking). Though they still show up here.  So yeah, same boat as all ya'll.

I unlocked two of the DLC achievements they showed unlocked but they didnt show up in my score or as an unlocked achievement anywhere but on my xbox.  So I recovered my gamertag the achievements dissapeared and now I cant unlock them.. I think it is because they are showing as unlocked on the bioware webpage..
We need a fix on this the only people with the glitch is the people that preorder the game or got it in the first 3 days of the release.. The true fans are the ones being punished..
I also have a problem with my memory band disapearing unless I am logged into xbox live and the bioware server making all of my char unplayable offline.
Now I am second thinking getting anymore new games from bioware until they are proven bug free..
