I am having the same problem with the Warden's Keep and Stone Prisoner achievements...

Hey guys, I can confirm that the folks at BioWare are aware of the issue. They are trying their hardest to come up with a solution that works for everyone. I've been talking with some of them for the last few days.



Give it some time, a fix like this can take awhile to implement and test, not even counting the time Microsoft will add on top of it.

What doesn't make sense to me is that I have unlocked the secret achievement for the Stone Prisioner DLC but not the first one. It popped up the first time but when I looked at my achievements it wasn't there.



It also shows my friends don't have it either, but when they compare games w/ my gamertag it shows theirs and not mine. Its quite confusing.

There was a 6-7 Page thread in the General Area that looks like it got deleted or moved, but I can't find it. Anyway, A Rock and a Hard Place still isn't showing for me, but the second part of the Achievement is.

Yeah I got three of the achievements on Nov.5 and they don't show, but the last one I got recently and it shows just fine.

I'm missing the following achievements from xbox.com, while they are there on my gamerprofile on my machine, and here, the listing before checking the game is short by these achievements



Master of the Peak, Rock and a Hard place, Diabolist



don't believe I've earned those? check out my profile, I've got all but 3 achievements on there, which I'll be putting there with my next game.

Two different teams work on patches and DLC. New DLC coming out should have no berring over patches coming out.

I downloaded everything day one, but I haven't actually had a chance to play yet. Is this still bugged for those who hadn't gone through the game yet? Or did it just affect people who played the game early. If it's still bugged, I'll hold off on playing a bit longer.

I'll add my name to the list too.

A Rock and a Hard Place didn't show up on XBox.com and didn't seem to be added to my gamerscore. I recovered my gamertag, thinking it would fix it like the achievments in Fallout 3. Well the achievment is now showing up as though I never got it but when i complete the quest it doesn't unlock.

Hope to see this adressed soon.

it only affects anyone who played it and unlocked the achievements the first few days. 

you shouldn't have any problem unlocking the achievements and receiving your points.

Are they for sure working on a fix for this? Just read in another thread that someone was told by a Bioware rep that they were sorry but weren't working on a fix for it. I already HATE EA, and don't have much faith in a company owned by them. They have been noted as having the worst customer service in the world, so I tend to avoid games from them. But since this was a Bioware game I checked it out and enjoyed it a lot, and now I'm sitting at 51/54 achievements because of the 3 bugged ones. If you can't/won't fix this bug I will not buy anymore DLC for this game, nor will I buy Mass Effect 2 or anything else released by Bioware as long as they are owned by EA Games. Good customer service is important, and there are a lot of people out there upset about this bug right now. I'll give my gaming money to someone that takes care of their customers, unlike EA. Please fix this so I don't have to avoid Mass Effect 2 ....

But if they really did shrug it off like they weren't planning a fix I sure ain't gonna waste more money on EA/Bioware and go thru the same stuff again. This bug is Microsoft's fault for not having the achievements updated before launch, but Bioware should have checked that before launch and made sure it was updated. It's not like they have 20 games coming out each week and there's not enough time to make sure everything is ready, it should have been caught before the game came out because this is the only game release they had to worry about for months.  Getting all of the achievements (or trying) is part of the excitement of a game for me, and I'm 3 bugged ones away from having them all on this one. So I am not happy.

achievements are definitely a part of the excitement for me as well. knowing i won't be able to get them all is making it really difficult to still be excited about this game.

frustrating. just keep your fingers crossed.

Well, we *know* Chris Priestly posted and asked for affected GTs and said they were figuring out the cause and possible solutions, and this guy says that a vaguely stated "someone" at Bioware "basically hinted" it would not be fixed.

It's not a guarantee of getting a fix, but which end of that would YOU bet on?

The "Rock and a Hard Place" achievement shows as unlocked on this site but not on my XBOX or xbox.com. I've completed the quest with three different characters now and it still wont unlock. I bought and played the game day one and like many others I went to get the new character as soon as I could. I've recovered my gamertag and played the game while not logged into the Dragon Age servers and still can't get it to unlock. Please fix this as soon as possible because there are many people like myself who care about their gamerscore and their XBOX profile. Thanks.
