Just another day of we dont give a **** from EA/BW

I hope they get some info out soon, I stopped playing my bloodmage.  I'm not
going to put more time into DA after beating it with my warrior until they fix
this.

That includes buying new DLC achievements.  Now I realize this may
take some time, but i've got plenty of other games to max out in the meantime
to.

I'm not spiteful for the record, things happen.  Generally I really
like what EA-P has done the past few years and bioware rules period.

same, while I do have 1200/1200 in Mass Effect, I refuse to buy another DLC until this is fixed.

spread the word on how bioware rushed out DLC that didnt work and make sure others are being caution towards their dlc in the future.

I too would really like to see this fixed. I am still waiting for the 75 points that should be unlocked for me.



I am wondering, though, if this has to do with the connection to the EA/Bioware servers where the achievement is stored, as I have recovered my gamertag and they no longer show as unlocked for me, however, I cannot unlock them again either.



Since Microsoft is no longer showing them as unlocked could it be something as simple as Bioware clearing the unlock information on the EA/Bioware severs?



Has anyone tried recovering tag to a different storage device (spare hard drive, memory card, etc.) that has no Dragon Age saves or info on it, then immediately going offline completely disconnected from the Internet, and trying to unlock them on a completely new save on a "new" storage device? That would prove or disprove my conjecture that it is because the achievements show unlocked on the EA/Bioware servers.

This bug happened in fallout 3 once.



The only way to fix the achievements if you suffer from the glitch is to delete your gamertag(but not the saves), then recover the gamertag.



After recovering you need to earn the achievements again

well it doesnt work in DAO, everyone has the tried the recovery gamertag and it doesnt help a bit.

Yay! Hopefully the problem will be fixed. I just 100 %d Dragon Age's achievements. My Xbox says I only have the secret DLC achievement for getting Shale, not the other three I got, which is quite lame. So my Xbox doesn't say I 100 %d Dragon Age . BTW, I loved the game. Amazing, simply amazing.... There are some other problems like the Sacred Ashes marker in Denerim. It's there all the time even though I already finished the quest and am pretty much done with the game for my second character. Hope all the little issues get fixed soon. Can't wait for new DLC >.<

i to have the same problem i am missing 75 points and now all i need is to finish my warrior to 20 then i have all achievments. they really need to fix this before the new DLC comes out. kinda shaddy to put work into new addons when the old ones are not even fixed. oh well it happened to me to in fallout 3 but it was fixed. looks like from the new map there will be 9 new areas to go to dragon age maybe the fist game to have 2000 achievment points unless theres one now idk about. And i kinda hope they make the lvl cap higher OR make it so you can keep getting skills.Being able to go back in time maybe or going to the black city would be great. oh well i hope they get the dl thing fixed soon.

They have already commented in this thread that they are aware of the issue and working to resolve it. As soon as an update is ready they will release it.

Trust, but verify, as a wise man once said.  The system may be working, but it is definitely on the slow side!

I'm just happy that we were able to hear something about it from Jason after the thread that Chris posted in got archived. I know everyone's going to kill me for this but I won't start chewing glass until 6 months have passed. Hopefully, they're probably trying to kill as many bugs at once in the next title update.

Okay, now, six months is as crazy as expecting it a month ago!

In all seriousness, that would be a bit excessive.  If we get Ostragar and *still* no title update, then I will get more annoyed.  I *want* to play DAO, but I won't until the fix (partly because there's no guarantee what the fix will do).

Fingers crossed!  Sooner rather than later, m'kay?

I got the game at launch, instantly claimed both DLCs, then played. As soon as I finished Lothering I did Warden's keep then Shale. I got all achievements and NO glitchy game play. At all.



Actually the only glitch I've had the entire game is I did Harrowmont's quests and not Bhelens and they didnt remove his from my quest log.



Everything else has been perfect... so its not like a 100% error on Bioware's part.

Because one has nothing to do with the other... hell it is probably two different groups of people.

The common variable is if you unlocked any of those achievements in the first 72 hours. If it took you longer than that to unlock them, you're in the clear.

If you got them prior to nov. 7th you better check your xbox.com profile... sorry to say you probably have the glitch and don't realize it.  They unlock like normal when you play, but the points don't add to your score and they don't show up on xbox.com

check your profile online, if you did complete them before the 7th you're in the same boat.

Actually, if you check your Xbox profile you DO NOT have the Warden's Keep achievements.  They may have popped up on your system when you earned them, like the rest of us, but you didn't actually get credit for them in your profile.  You got the one for Shale because you completed that one on the 4th day of release (Nov. 6th), which is after Xbox finally added those achievements to the system and people could earn them.  But since you completed Warden's Keep in the first 3 days of release, you didn't get credit for it and can't unlock it again until they do a fix. 

It's been a month already, pretty sad there isn't a fix yet.  I completed the game more than 2 weeks ago, but am still missing 3 bugged achievements for 75 points.
