I don't know if it is of any help or not, but I did get the achievement for doing the other part of the Shale quest, "Stone's Lament." I also didn't have any trouble with the achievements from Warden's Keep.
The achievement does show on my BioWare social page. Though to be honest, I would prefer if the situation was the other way around. I don't particularly care what shows up there.
Hopefully this can be cleared up relatively soon. I plan on keeping a save right before activating Shale so that I can quickly go back to it after it gets fixed. And hey, if I do need to start a new run for the fix to work, at least it doesn't take long to get to Shale.

That said, I do hope that a fix will come before the DLC is released.

They have no intention of fixing this before releasing more broken DLC and stealing more money from everyone they can. That's why they hide behind their forums and just lead you all on with...."we're working on it." They've got our money and laughing at how stupid we were for buying their trash. Have made sure all members of my gaming clan know about this EA/BioWare scam, and have all boycotted your products. Maybe somedday you'll learn to keep your customers happy for a more loyal fan-base instead of the quick buck scam you're running here.
The DLC isn't broken. Please review this thread for the real issue, which is that DLC achievements did not unlock prior to 11/07/2009, when the achievement list was updated on Live. This is not an issue that affects the playability of the game in any way, just the status of the game on your Live profile.
Beyond that, no one cares about online boycotts or petitions. They don't mean anything and are never upheld.
Bioware/EA haven't stolen anything from you. They've been very communicative about this issue and that they are working on a fix for it.
In the meantime, if you're still sore about it, go enjoy some of the other great new games out right now and come back to DA after the fix is released.

So explain why everything about Shale doesnt work. Crystals dont dont anything for attack, gifts dont work properly, etc.

Hmm, well I think I see your point. However, I must warn you that I foresee this post magically becoming a little more polite next time a moderator sees it...LevitasVeneficus wrote...
Bah, after playing Mass Effect for the first time I'm done with DA:O. No more shelling $$$ for crap DLC, Microsofts problem? That is a ****ty copout, it is ALL of their responsibility to ensure that the game and it's content perform to our "the buyers" standards of the original product. I bought the game to have another perfect game on my gamerscore and voila I like many get screwed, but this has and will always be nothing but a broken record complaint, we "cry" they "criticize" our complaints never ending pile of bull****... so in conclusion Bioware, you can make a good game even if you were not as thorough with DA:O achievements I'll still play your god damn games, with the exception of DA fuhk that game! Won't be fixed for years if EVER! Oh and because I check this forum only once every couple of weeks let me just defend myself real quick to you nerdy butt-fuhkin f@ggots who have nothing better but to criticize my critical opinion Fuhk you
Be patient. It'll be fixed.
In the mean time...Do this>

How is it a cop out to state the facts that frequently Microsoft dosen't update their system on time when DLC releases. It's not like they don't have time to do it, they have the content for weeks before it's released. It took months for those Phantasy Star Universe expansion achievements to be updated after that got released. It happened with 2 different Fallout DLCs. These things happen, & will keep happening. Contrary to popular belief Xbox LIVE is not a perfect system. The fact that whiny ignorant morons like this guy are so prominent on the service is proof positive of that. I mean damn, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but why be a d!ck about it?
But what do I know? I'm just an extremely patient "nerdy butt-fuhkin f@ggot" who dosen't mind waiting for a fix. "Fuhk" me right?

Anyways, your complaining as such won't make you feel better and it won't rush the process, nor will they affect people outside of possibly hurting their feelings or wasting the time to read/write these posts.
All that aside, Than you for keeping us updated admins.

There is a title update including this fix in certification. It is currently slated to be released along with Return to Ostagar.
Thank you for sharing this information with us. I'll be awaiting both the new DLC and the update.
