I just took Kasumi with Imp FB, Samara with Area Reave and the Mattock and my Vanguard with squad cryo through the derelict Reaper... It almost felt like cheating. I kinda feel bad for the poor husks, I completely made a mockery of their existence....

What level were you? How many Biotic damage upgrades? At level 30 with 6/6, my Samara leaves husks with an invisible amount of armor after her Area Reave hits.

Squad Cryo Ammo = lolhusks on its own. Slam is also pretty effective.

Confirmed. i did a test a while ago:

40 dmg x 1.6 (upgrades) x 2 (barriere multiplier) = 128 dps
4 sec x 1.2 (upgrade) x 0.8 (insanity penalty) = 3.84 sec
128 dps x 3.84 sec  = 491.52 dmg

now i edited the coalesced.ini to change the penalty to 0.81. i got:
128 x 3.888 = 497,664 dmg
this amount penetrated the whole layer.

i don't know if samaras inability in this case is intended by the developers or just an oversight, personally i mod the penalty to 0.81, so she can do it. but even if you don't, the incineration blast of mordin should be a feasible alternative.

Thanks.  I play primarily on xbox, so I won't be making those changes.  Besides, a stray SMG shot is all it takes to remove it.  And I agree that Mordin's Incineration Blast makes a suitable alternative.

I was level 25, but this is on hardcore not Insanity. I just can't enjoy playing on Insanity, it just annoys me to the point of not having fun... Hardcore is just difficult enough for me to have a challenge, but still have fun.
