I purchased the retail version of DOA, new, and it comes with a code for mass effect armor and Shale, but the code expired 4/30/10 and so, I cannot download, or at least when I enter the code it says it is invalid.  Is there any way to redeem the code, or get extensions on new games, that contain the DLC codes?  I hate to pay 1200 points when I have a card for the DLC.
     if this question has been asked before I apoligize, I tried to search the forums for a similar question.

This latest update from XBox fixed every problem I was having, thanks, now this game is off the chain!
So.... I take back every thing bad I said about BioWare!
Thanks for the 411 sassperella, LOL I'll settle for that, the game play has been fixed for me and now the game is stupendous!!

^ Huh? What update? I want what you're smokin' man. There's been no bug fix of any kind for the Xbox for about 4 months. And the ones they did release were only fixes to bugs they had introduced in a previous patch.



Try stealing something from a random NPC (non-quest related) and see how great that works for you.

Wicked 702 the last time I went online to XBox Live, it said an update was available for Dragon Age which was about 3 days ago, I updated and the game now has no more problems, so I can only assume they fixed the problems or my problems at least, the game has not crashed once and the game play in very good, I had solve most of my video problems by installing the game to the hard drive and playing it from the hard drive, no more lagging video!

..............that update was to "prepare" your game for the release of Darkspawn Chronicles. It contained NO gameplay changes or fixes. I can point you to the thread where the announcement specifically stated as such if you want.



You probably solved your problems by installing it to the hard drive. Thank yourself, not Bioware.

Wicked 702: hmm.. that does make sense, either way the game does now play very well and has not crashed even once, and it use to hang up almost every time I played, I was saving every 20 minutes to keep from losing my place, now that sucked big time!

Urgh, I just want that frelling high dragon right before the 'mother' to drop stuff for once! I want my frelling blackblade armor set to be complete! That can't happen when the blackblade gloves and boots arent in the game bioware!!! FIX IT.

And the wheel turns, no patch no word. I check every month or so. I suppose that will become less, plenty of good work by good people is getting let down and that's the saddest part. I WANT to play, I think it's a good game but I am not going to muddle through problems.



I am not one hundred percent certain the amount of training or what the overall all management instruction is, but it's rather preposterous that we can essentially just be ignored.

A little advice please- I have Dragon Age for 360 and after I get to the menu screen, and load info from my hard drive/check downloadable content, the game tries to contact the Dragon Age server. I then get a message saying



"Unable to access your online profile storage. The game has encountered an error"



Any ideas?

I don't know if anyone can help me with this. Just recently I notice a change in alistair dialogue(in love with girl warden)

for example:

He use to say Yes my love now he says (what? or You need me?) I am use to hearing this when just starting out in the game not when he loves the warden.

. He is know longer sweet and nice alistair he is just nasty. I notice this change when the darkspawn chron patch came out.



I also notice that every once in a while his picture changes



I know some might look at this and think I am crazy to even notice this but if you like a character you notice when the character whole attitude changes and not for the better.

Is anyone else having this problem?

PS this problem is with both X-box and PS3 console

 I think I am having the same problem. I was in the assmebly just about to fight bhelen when i accidentally talked to oghren and he said we should probably get back to the assmbly and i clicked lets go. then i got transported out of orzammar then back in. so i went to the diamond district and tried talking to steward bandelor but all it does is transport me inside the assembly room and go through a little dialogue with harrowmont and bhelen right before i fight him, but i dont fight him then i am stuck in the assembly room. i really do not want to start this whole game over again. i tried saving then reloading but its the same thing.

I have nothing but bad news to give you I'm afraid. Epic is actually referring to a different issue with the two Orzammar quest lines. But yours is a familiar one too. I've seen this problem pop up a number of times since the game was released 7 months ago and to date no one has a solution. Bioware has also neither acknowledged nor fixed the issue.

The obvious answer I would have given you would be to load a save from before you first entered the assembly. Best as I can tell from your post, you only have one save game.....a fatal mistake to put it lightly. So use this as a learning experience and DON'T DO THAT EVER AGAIN, WITH ANY GAME......PERIOD.

Hey guys... I dunno if this is still a bug or not but... Today I beat Awakening again and I still haven't gotten the Achievemeny for beating the Expansion. What was different this time was that there was a patch for it so I thought it might have been fixed. For me it still isn't. I even cleared my cache.

Anyways after installing the Awakening patch I grew frustrated when I still didn't get the achievement. I than switch to Origins and the weirdest thing happened! I had to install an even bigger patch!

I'm gonna test and see if this patch fixed the Awakening completion achievement but I wont hold my breath.

I get that message every day that I play DA:O on the xbox 360 .  Out of the 7 character profiles that I have created, only 1 shows the picture of my Elf character and the rest of the data is incorrect (Kills, Current level, etc.).

hmm, well I finished the game once so far as a City elf female rogue, and the only 2 problems I have had with the game is 1 and I think its the biggest problem with this and many 360 games is that the txt is so small I have to stand up and get real close to the screen to read any of it(I ussly don't read any codecs till near the end of the game), the other thing I noticed is when I was the city elf I made The daughter of Logain the Queen as I wanted to stay with Alastair (as he could not marry me and would not take me as a mistress) is that near the end of the game he referred to him self as the King even tho he was not....hardly a game breaker... I am now playing as a Human Male Son of Crsling(forget the spelling) and so far no bugs. And as far as that Dark spawn killing Bug I've heard about I guess I will be testing it soon as I am just getting over 800 Dark spawn kills so I'll let you know if I get the 1k kills Achievement..



Yesterday my xbox d/l a update for the game, not sure what it did but I did notice there are now pictures of the dlc in the dlc menu, and when someone lvls up and i press the button to go to the group menu instead of starting with me it goes right to the character who lvled up. Not sure what else was in the patch....

okay

im playing as a human noble warrior wutever and i was doing nature of the beast. I was in the ruins walking around when i approached the part where youre about to do elven ritual. all of a sudden i glitched past it into the room with the mages treasure and the elven ghost chick... the door is locked and there is no way out... i dont know what to do... i have EXTENSIVELY searched the room for anything that might help me get out... ive even tried looking online... as far as i can see no one has any clue what or how it happened...
