I have 2 problems, the first one is I can not get the 1k darkspawn kills achievement even though I have 1400 kills(I got the 500 darkspawn kills achievement @ 700).

My second problem is that in awakening, the game won't auto-save when I defeat the mother,(last auto save is right before the final fight is that how it's supposed to be?).  Some funky things happened when I was fighting her, there was a loop error where it would play the final cut scene over and over, another time it played the final cutscene again after the epilouge.
I defeated her 5 times and in each of those times it never created a new auto save.

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for Xbox 360 is bugged to all hell. Discs are so flimsy and hardly ever read in the console, despite the fact that every other game I own works without any problems. DLC doesn't install, randomly, particularly with the Awakening Expansion, with the only notification being "Can't install one or more items".



Maybe it's because on the DLC Disc, every item has a picture, besides Awakening, perhaps indicating that it wasn't fully included. I know people have reported other DLC not showing up on the discs.



Bioware, please, please, please learn to properly test your products. It seems like every other game you come out with has thousands of problems, some never being fixed. Hell, I'm an experienced Quality Assurance Tester for companies down here in Birmingham. If you really need this much help, I'd be happy to offer my services. =P

 Shale's "Rock Aura" is bugged. Causes 7+ second delays in shot time for the archers in my party.

my gamertag is connected to a different DA server log-in.  How do i change it over to my new login info. (on 360 of course)  i have spent 4 hours looking for an answer and EA support had no idea, they kept trying to reset my internet connection.  PLEASE can someone help me?

Hopelessly Romantic will not unlock for me even though I have all four romances completed. Three of them show up in my Dragon Age account but all four are in my live account. Is there a fix or a work around for this?

They will leave the game broken. This is why I stopped buying anything from Bioware.

I've completed the main game twice without any problems(Human Noble Origin-Marred the Queen, and Female Elf City-Thief), I even was able to transfer most of my gear over to Awaking(by leaving it in my inventory, I had so much in my inventory tho no Starsword but I did have the meteorsword, I was over weight when Awakenings started), But now trying out other Origins I've come across some things that ruin the game a bit, Play Dwarf Noble up to the point were I have my son Adopted but the game says he was not....I don't feel like finishing the Dwarf any more as the point to the game was the different Origins and how it effected the ending, but if its messed up less then half the way threw whats the point to trying to finish it...

can someone please help me with the codex bug. the first codex bug is with connor and Isolde i save connoer without killing Isolde but the codex says i did kill them and i did not. and the second one is with Anora who i marry and become King-consort and in codex says she deposed and Alistair was made king instead. It has done this too me many times when i start over the game. the reason I want this fix is because the game use the codex too transfer over too awakening and will use the codex too transfer my choices over into  in dragon age 2. Can bioware please do something!!!!!!!!!!

i"m having a problem while playing the warden"s keep dlc. there is a certain part after you have the one possed women fix the veil and then you are required to go into the tower to fight her enemies or something like that. When i go to exit the room to the tower the screen goes black and i cannot do anything. Im playing on the 360 and it will not even show the guide when i hit the guide button. If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciatted.

My DA:O and DA:A were working fine along with the DLC "the stone guardian" and "the blood dragon armor."  However, recently when I tried loading my previous characters/starting a new character the game keeps telling me I do not have the correct DLC or what not.  I have tried deleting and reinstalling the DLC as well as trying a totally new gamertag along with removing everything DA:O on my storage device and nothing has worked.  I in effect can no longer play DA:O in any conceivable way.  This is happening on my Xbox 360, 120GB Elite.  No other games have any issue and when I tried installing the game it gets to about 7percent and says it can't read the disc, which has no visible markings on it to suggest it is unreadable.  DA:A seems to be working fine and this problem seems to have arisen since the latest patch.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anymore info is needed please message me, thank you.

Is the dex bug fixed? I read somewhere you can't make a dex/dagger rogue build on 360 because its is broken?

 My Ultimate Edition freezes every time I get to the point in the Archedemon fight where the other enemies come out.  (Archedemon at about half energy)....I have a new slim that is only about 3 months old, and no other game freezes on it.  The game is installed to the HD and I've cleared the cache several times, but it freezes up every time.  This pisses me off so bad I'm thinking of canceling Dragon Age 2 today. WTF? Can't I finish a game from Bioware without it freezing? Seriously.

im having trouble registering my copies of Dragon age origins and mass effect 2. even though my account is linked to my gamertag and i have lots of DLC for each game, when i go to type in the upc code asked for on the registration page it tells me the code is invalid! any suggestions!

This was quite interesting; I downloaded this The Stone Prisoner-DLC with a code I had with the game but I just noticed that there's 1200 Microsoft Points missing from my account.. Just the amount that this DLC would cost without the code. Does anyone else noticed points missing after using the code for this DLC?

And another problem. I've posted this same thread to some other areas in the forum but maybe here I can get the answer to it; "After reading hundreds of threads and spending almost the better part of sunday I think i have to post a new thread because I just haven't found an answer to this problem what I have with Witch Hunt dlc. So, to the point then; everything's all right when I get to the final area and map shows that there should be a door to the Nest but when I go in front off the door it doesn't "show" the door or do anything. There's no darkspawn in the area but I just can't get through the door. I was wondering that is this a usual problem and do I have to complete Awakening first to get to the Nest in Witch Hunt? Any ideas anyone? :-) For any useful advice and answer I thank in advance. =)"

I level during the first fight with the
demons on the second floor, the door into the next room (the Shrine)
will stay locked, and I was told that the only way to complete the quest will be
reverting to a prior save... which I don't have. Is there anyway around this?

You've provided very little information there SsAndromeda, but it sounds like you're at Soldier's Peak.

If you are bugged then a prior save is pretty much the only thing that can help you. Are you sure there isn't an autosave there from an earlier time?

With these games you will need a sequence of saves just in case you do get bugged, so you don't have to replay so much.
