ok can anyone help i have the blood dragon armour for origins but not for dragon age 2 my brother has it for both why is this

I created this account today so that I could ask my questions. Also, I do not know where to post these questions so I'ma do it here.


1) How come Starfang and the Warden Commander armor won't follow my character when I play Golems of Amgarrak, Witch Hunt and Awakening?

2) All the things I loot in Amgarrak and Witch Hunt is gone when I start Awakening. How come?

1) Known bug. Those things won't transfer to other modules.

2) Because you cannot import an Amgarrak or Witch Hunt save into Awakening. Time line is: Origins > Awakening > Amgarrak > Witch Hunt. Only certain dlc items will be available for the other modules if you unlocked them in their respective modules.

Ah...lol...I've been playing in the wrong line...did both of them between origins and awakening...thought that was the correct order...thanks a bunches...

ok, I recently got a blood dragon armour code and used it on dragon age origins but it didn't download. I know that the code worked because I have it in mass effect 2 and dragon age 2. can anyone help me out?

It should show up, but I don't think yours is the first case that it hasn't.

I would suggest to check your registered game promos tab to see if it shows up there correctly first.

There is supposed to be a server issue of late so that may be a cause of it not appearing in DAO (it would seem the other servers are fine).

If the above two are all correct (registered and servers are working) then contact EA to see if they can somehow activate it.

I have had this problem since December, of 2010. I have not been able to upload a character to the Bioware site since then.

INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION has been on my profile diagnostics for months now.

I DID change my gamertag. But EVERYTHING is linked on the EA website, and it is also showing up perfectly fine on this site (my new gamertag).

HOWEVER, I still keep getting the invalid persona/game combination message under profile diagnostics.

I have done everything I know how to do, and I CANNOT get Bioware's attention, and no one I've called at EA can help me. They even escalated my trouble ticket to tier 3. I have exhausted EVERY option, and have gone over the FAQ section regarding problems with getting characters to upload, with a fine tooth comb.

And no, this is NOT me, just being ignorant about the fact that sometimes it takes a while for my character to update, or appear on the page.

I know about removing armor, and re equipping armor, then saving, etc. I know those tricks.

This is something entirely different.

I have not been able to upload a character for 1 year, and 4 months.

INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION? Why? My new, current gamertag is linked. It appears on my bioware profile, as well as on the EA site.

I HAVE ALSO SET MY XBOX LIVE gamertag as my DEFAULT PERSONA on the EA website.

I am begging for instructions and wisdom on how to solve this mystery.

Please help me. Or forward this to someone who knows. I really deserve for my profile to be working.

I have always believed that a Bioware developer would be the only person I could turn to, but for the past 5 months, I have not been able to get anyone from Bioware to notice, or care.

I'm not sure if anyone can help on this specific issue. I tried to give aid to another member with the same error message you have, and they didn't seem to have much luck either. Truthfully they never replied to say whether my suggestions helped or not, but I took their persistent posting of the same issue after my attempted help as the answer being 'no'.

The issue would seem to be beyond us gamers (at least beyond me and no-one else seems to have come across an acknowledged solution), which leads me to having to suggest that perhaps the only thing that can be done is pester EA support until they can give a concrete answer as to whether it can be resolved.

Sorry I can't provide much more insight into the problem.

I already have. I have sent PMs to Chris Priestly, and several other Bioware Dev's, with no response yet. And EA has escalated my issue up to "tier 3" whatever that means. But they don't seem to be helping.

The problem is, being able to just simply get in touch with someone who has the authority, and know-how about troubleshooting problems like this, and just getting their help.

If I could simply find someone from Bioware, who could fix this..

That is my biggest problem. Just hearing my own echo.

I haven't been able to upload a character from Origins since December, 2010.

This absolutely is a nightmare.

Hm...it might be worth seeing if the forum tech issues board has anyone who knows about the problem; it might be a site problem. Aside from the EA thing that's pretty much all I can suggest.

I am almost POSITIVE that it is a site problem. EA hasn't been able to do JACK ****! By the way, I have already posted on the site tech issues forum, as well as personally messaged several moderators with NO RESPONSE.

It was just meant as an alternative suggestion to help you find a solution as you hadn't mentioned it in your other posts. (EDIT: more precisely it is not something I recall you mentioning.)

To be honest there is no official support as such on the forums; just fellow gamers helping each other out the best they can. I have seen mods having forum issues too, so they don't necessarily have the expertise to help. (That's not to say they don't though.)

For anyone playing on the XBOX 360 version, suffering from the "INVALID PERSONA/GAME COMBINATION" issue, please move over the the XBOX360 tech support forum, and post your problems in my topic. Hopefully, it will be seen, by some of the dev's, considering they are working on the current problem with "unauthorized DLC" issue on the 360.

I am on my 2nd play through the problem is i didnt get my specialization point at level 7 and the revrant (or how ever it is spelled) quest is not showing up.

Not really sure what can be done about the specialization point to be honest. The only thing that readily comes to my mind is if you have a previous save before the fight where you got the experience to level up, then replay that bit to level up again to see if the point materializes. Other than that I'm not sure what can be done.

As for the revenant quest...in what sense is it not showing up? From playing it I don't recall that it is it coming up like the normal quests; you stumble upon it when you pick up a black vial. More info may help to trace the root of the issue you are having with this.

i fought the revenant in the circle but,when i tried to find it in the back allies it wasnt there also i fought one in redcliffe castle yard and no update to fighting it.

Sometimes DA: O is slow in updating the status of the game, and if you leave before it has that could mess things up (unless it's one of these areas that are locked and unlock upon completing whatever task, though sometimes it just doesn't update).

The back allies one I think is a random encounter map rather than an actual location you go to. Though I could be wrong or just my hazy memory.

 Okay, so there's a glitch with my Stone Prisoner DLC.
I got the control rod, went to Honnleath, killed all the dark spawn running around, got the key from the dead guy and opened the chest, talked to Shale, killed all the dark spawn in Wilhelm's cellar, and it STILL won't let me get passed the barrier.
I turned my console off then back on, and even tried to delete and redownload the DLC.  
It still will not work.
Please someone help me!!

I really am trapped in the fade! Help me please lol. I am doing the lost in dreams quest for the circle of mages. I have all the shapeshifting forms but for some reason the golem's hurl ability with not break open the massive doors. I have recently swapped back to the 360 system. The machine is less than a week old. I don't know if it is the machine or if anyone has had this problem. Maybe I am not doing something right.. either way I really am trapped until I get some help on the matter.

Actually, if you haven't already, all you need to do with the Golem form is go up to the massive doors and open it as normal. Your Golem form Warden will then enter the Hurl animation and smash the door.

If that is what you've been doing then that exhausts my thinking for the time being.
