This thread is completely useless.

We report anything to EA, they claim its a gameplay problem and send us back to the forums. The mods need to delete this thread as EA has already cut themselves off from the game.

I have an existing ticket with EA from 17 days ago.  They made their profit and would like to send thanks for making the game a financial success and a QA wreck.

I got the same canned response when I replied to the first canned response. EA isnt doing support for this at all as they claim all problems are gameplay problems.

This thread is pointless and should be deleted to save people the frustration of dealing with EA

Here I am to add my two cents! There is another guilty party here, the web sites and mags that review these games and give them such wonderful scores. I dont know about the bulk of you but I definitly made my choice to buy, not only this game but many other busted "super-games' like fallout three, based on reviews. no one ever gives grief to these sources for their lies, maybe we should start.

I think game reviews can be useful for getting an insight into the general 'feel' of a game, and how well the controls work; but definitely NOT as a buyers guide. There's just too much bias out there.

In fact, many of my all time favourite games on the 360 received pretty poor reviews, Too Human, KUF: Circle Of Doom, (and dare I even mention it?) ...Two Worlds. Which is still up there alongside Oblivion and D.A:O in my top 5 rpg's.

Right... been sitting here for about four days now trying to connect to the Dragonage servers through the 360 to redeem my codes I got when I bought it. And for 4 days it's said that "The Dragon Age Servers are temporarily unavailable. please try again" ... I'd love to get my hands on the designer of that message because four days sure isn't temporary! And I hoped finding something on the website about it or in the forums... Ofcourse I didn't. Anyone managed to find a way to work around this problem? If so then do reply because this is getting more than alittle irritating >_>

What will doing nothing accomplish?

Granted, so far taking action doesn't seem to be accomplishing much, but it sure beats doing nothing and letting EA bend us over...

EA bends us over when you try to get help from them anyway so they get what they want.

So... they're working on a patch, and listening to our complaints and using our criticism to better the game but yet they're doing nothing? Right.

I've definitely encountered problems with the game but I've had such a good time playing that the good greatly out weighs the bad.

It's disappointing some people just constantly posts negative snarky posts.

Well, I dont think changing all the bad things in here into just good and glory ones isnt good either. If there are people having problems its the duty of bioware or ea to help them out. We have paid for the game. Maybe some of us got the game as a birthday gift or as pre-xmas-present, I dont know. But money unfortunately doesnt grow on trees. We all had to work for it. And this means, we are again at Eo/Bioware and their duty. Dont get me wrong, but its just a realistic point of view.

To be sincere: I only ran into 2 bugs. One at a quest, the other one with the radial menu.

I've had:

1. A corrupted saved game - or more accurately my wife did-

2. A few moments where the sound dropped out during some dialog.

3. The stupid can't connect to profile thing

Overall, really pretty darn good

Build a Rogue archer. Get STR to 20 for armor and dump everything into DEX and CUN.

Talent wise you want to have Lethality, which will swap your STR for CUN in combat.

Archery wise you want Arrow of Slaying which hits very very hard. Use the Assassin spec just for Mark of Death so you can get more damage from AoS.

I did 260 for my Heavy Hitter achievement and my 22 Rogue can hit for over 700 dmg with AoS

Since I know my thread won't go anywhere hopefully posting this here might get some attention.

Over my 2 play-troughs of Dragon I noticed many things about the interface that made the game completelyun-enjoyable at times. I completely understand why they did it, to take advantage of what they could have possibly done with controllers. It makes the game more difficult than it needs to be, being a mage is pretty much impossible. You can't get a good string of combos going due to the constantly having to go to the rotary menu which worked for Mass Effect, but not for Dragon Age.

What I'm asking is that a menu in the style of the Xbox version of Knights of the Old Republic replace what's currently available. I say the xbox version because it's similar to PC version of Dragon Age and the reason I didn't enjoy the PC version of KoToR, the Xbox menu was better laid out and more intuitive. It would make battles more manageable, playing a mage or any class in general easier and could result in a more enjoyablegame in the process. A big plus is pausing in combat won't be a hassle anymore could add the RTS elements the reviews state is a huge minus for the console versions.

So that's my request, hopefully someone see it and agrees with me.

You're absolutely right. I'm waiting for a patch. I report my bugs and issues and wait. Trolling doesn't help.

I disagree this post is brilliant, and should go on national news channels and watchdog stations, the only way they will learn is if they stop making money, I wont buy the other add ons and am now so fed up with the game that im going to part exchange it for Fallout Game of the Year edition, I will not buy Mass effect 2 until either I can aford a PC to run it on, or EA start looking after its customers.

Id love to see Ann Robinson interview the person in charge of EA so will write to Watchdog, and hope that other UK residents do also http://www.bbc.co.uk/watchdog/

I have to say, that Im also reporting bugs directly to EA. Ok, it was just one summatized bug-email so far to them, but maybe I got the right vibes in this letter. They answered personally and it sounds to me the support-women (a women named Joanna) answered without lies. I have to agree that I will also hold my ms-points back till the date arrives when something is changing in / with our game. No need to support a possible dead project...But lets wait first. The email I got from EA was in german, so a copy and paste wouldnt help in this parts of the forums. But sounded okay to me.

Anyone who is willing or able to help i am having issues with my DAO on my 360. It keeps freezing mid-frame for no apparent reason. There are no scratchs on the disc, at least not any major enough to cause an issue, and it never freezes in the same spot. Im wondering if anyone has had this issue as well and if so, or not, how do i fix it. If anyone has any information please e-mail me at fallenshadow69@gmail.com. thanks
