Will my corrupt characters ever come back?

I was mainly wondering if anyone else has had the problem after this patch today that the Specialization classes like Reaver Spirit healer and so forth where Locked again when they have already been unlocked. and the ones that come from a vender cant be repurchased.

yes its a bug with the patch/dlc they ave mentioned its being worked on so we just have to wait :/

I also had this happen, though I had something else happen to me as a result of the patch; all my items that I've stored in the Party Storage Chest in Soldier's Peak (Warden's Keep) have been all wiped out by the patch. That's over 70+ hours of weapons, armor, potions, traps, gifts, runes, and craftables that have all been erased from my storage chest.

I'm not sure if anyone at Bioware, Edge of Reality, or EA is aware of
this bug, but after I downloaded the title update for the Xbox 360
version around 1:00 AM on 01-13-10, all of the tactics presets don't
work.



Here's what happened.  I returned to camp, noticed that Morrigan, Sten,
Dog, and Shale all leveled, and proceeded to level up each character. 
Well, they all received a new tactics slot, and since I use the tactics
presets (Scrapper, Archer, etc.) I went to look at what tactic filled
the new tactic slot.  Everything was fine until I changed the tactics
preset to see what my new options were.  When I changed to a new tactics
preset (from Scrapper to Defender, etc.) all of the tactic slots became
empty, even the preset I just came from was empty when I returned
to it.  However, the Custom preset still has all the tactic slot from filled accept the new one.



I have not left camp or entered any battles, so I don't know if the
tactics presets still work even though all the tactic slots appear empty,
or if my companions will just stand there and do nothing.



Considering the title update was ONLY supposed to fix the DLC
achievement glitch, I'm wondering how this happened and what else may
have been broken by this title update?

All of my specializations are re-locked also... I seriously hope they fix this :/

damn... we have mad issues with this game on the console now. and the patch that was supposed to fix some things created more bugs. im gonna shelf this game untill bioware or ea or whoever the heck is takeing responsibility for this crap fixes some of these bugs. i wonder how many months we will have to wait for title update 2.

The patch messed my game up and everything is locked.... how do I get rid of the patch.... why would they make a patch that breaks the game...?

gah i downloaded the wardens keep patch and all my specalizations are relocked all that hard work

I downloaded the patch and the RTO when they were available and now every time I try to play I get an error stating that the Dragon Age servers are unavailable. I can't load any of my saved games because of this. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

Oh oh I do I do. Play a different game. You are in for a long wait otherwise. We only waited 3 months to get a patch that breaks the game. How long do you think it will take them to make one that fixes the game?

Or you could play offline.

Over 115 hours collecting everything and sold all to one merchant and now my 4 game saves are corrupted! Sooo angry, as cant continue and dont want to start again as it seems if this bug doesnt reoccur some other bug will!

Under my Dragon Age Player Profile Diagnostics I cannot get my portrait Image to load for my mage character SolonaStorm. Any Ideas why I get this “1003 - No portrait image uploaded from the game to the on-line storage server.” I added a Rouge yesterday and it’s Avatar image uploaded. Thanks in advance Bioware/EA/Microsoft/Players keep up the good work I love this game.

Im playing Dragon age on xbox360 and I think Ive ran in to a massive bug. In the forest outside the delish elves camp ( or what ever it is called) I run in to two werewolves that are impossible to kill. There health indicators are at the bottom but they wont die. They aren´t any NPCs or allies or anything like that, just ordinary mobs. The thing is I cant go around them, I have to pass them in order to get further and its really freaking irritating. Has anyone expierenced this on the 360??

Folks at Bioware, if you're still checking this thread at all please comment on why myself and others are getting the servers down error. I understand that things happen when your dealing with pushing out an update over multiple platforms, but I'd at least like to see some acknowledgment of the issue. I've enjoyed DA:O and I'd like to continue playing it, but I can't in it's current state. So please just say something, anything. I'd rather some one say "Screw you we're getting to it." than for the issue to be completely ignored.

I'm having constant problems with my characters uploading from my 360 to the website. Two of them (both males) have loaded images but not the proper armor (seem to be wearing default armor) and my 3 female characters are not loading up images.



Warden's keep DLC: The Warden Commander Armor breast plate has a typo in the description detailing the set bonus: "...Warden-Commander Plate boots and gloves..." if the hyphen is supposed to be there, it is not in the description for the boots or gloves. I don't know if this is the cause, but there is no set bonus granted for wearing it.

Is there a list in order to unlock the "Traveler" Achievement? I've finished the game with the 93% of locations discovered. I'm being sick for it.

I think i'm officially done playing dragon age until they fix all these bugs. Ironically I didn't have any issues until they're "update" on tuesday, now all my specializations are locked and I cant gain any achievements. F*** this, I'll wait for ME2 and pray there aren't any problems.

Now I see where all mine went. I wondered why I could not open the specializations. I had no trouble till the DLC. Oh well, I will play something else till it's fixed. It's a wonderful game. Just frustrating.

Only problem I've had is with the Social side of the game. I've had it since Chirstmas, and finished it TWICE. Now I have this account here, I registered the game on it. Yet none of my activity has ever shown up. What am I doing wrong?

Like some of the people here I have given up on playing this game until they fix the major bugs. It's a shame as from what I've played of DAO it seems to be a fun game. I have not been able to enjoy this game however as I'm in fear of getting a save game corruption or some other game breaking issue. It will stay in my game collection till it is fixed (if it is ever fixed) and I'll not spend one penny on DLC till I can actually play the base game.
