to Cartan's Cross telling me to go to the Dead Trenches. When I go to
the entrance to the Deep Roads it won't let me select the dead trenches
on my travel map. I can see the emblem for it but can't access it.

Though purely from a pragmatic standpoint, I fail to see why they would have any motivation to try and fix the game. They already have our money, the game built up a good enough hype, reviews, and so forth to sucker in more potential buyers even as others seek a refund(in which case they will be extremely disappointed as DLC cannot be refunded).
Well They can still milk us with the DLC, so there is more money to be made. Of course all this is based upon the idea, that the DLC actually works. Also even if the DLC works i see no point in spending any money on it because there are bugs that will cause the whole experience to go fubar.
On the other hand...there is no point in patching a limb if the whole limb has been amputated...
ps. It's also nice that we can't sell the game second hand because buyers go "oh, it's the ps3 version...but that one doesn't work?".

I entered the code and such (useing a ps3 version of DOA if it means
anything) and the site said that I claimed my code. But when i log into
the network ingame it does not show the armor in my DLC section. Would
this screw up the DLC to just putting .com in place of .net and if so
can i fix it?After looking over everthing I forgot that my PSN login
ends with .net
not .com and the only difference being that i used .com in my email
instead of the latter, any advice or instructions would help.

I've contacted the "official support" at EA, but they said to come back here with my problem...
In the quest to find the Ashes, I've killed Eirik, but he had no medallion on him!
I went to speak to Father, but he asked me to get the medallion... But I don't have it!
Strange bug... I seard everywhere, just in case, but the medallion is nowhere to be found.

I have played through the game now twice, anytime I am supposed to earn a trophy for example "bloodied" I get a notification similar to the one where you earn a trophy but this notification "YOU DID NOT EARN A TROPHY" I have contacted EA technical support over the phone about this issue and they directed me to the official sony tech support. However, I contacted Sony technical support and they said there is nothing they can do please contact EA technical support. So I still have my "you did not earn a trophy" issue and both sony AND ea have told me to contact the other company, leaving me with no technical support and both companies blaming the other.
So the only other company to turn to are the actual developers of the game? I should mentioned that both reps I spoke to over the phone, both had to go talk to their respective supervisors as neither had ever heard of this problem before

I was taking part in the precious metals quest, I discovered the illegal lyrium trade in the mage circle.
I told the perp that I would hand him over to Gregoir.
I tried talking to Gregoir before and after speaking to Rogek and I had no option to tell him about the lyrium trade.
That was on my second playthrough, I am trying again on ym third to see if it is a glitch on the mage/warrior classes

Now, for the people having problems downloading the DLC content from the in-game store, I had no trouble. Make sure you also type the "dashes", not just the numbers and letters. I don't know why on the Blood Dragon armor side of the card it says you have to come to this site to download it. I put the code in the in-game redemption screen and it worked fine. I'm not sure why BioWare would think PS3 owners need the armor for Mass Effect 2, lol. I think they did that purposely to just tease us that we aren't getting the game.....evil.
It's ok though, we got the better console version of Dragon Age by a long shot, so I'm happy. Cheers to BW on having such good results on PS3 with their 1st outing with the hardware. I personally didn't like ME1. It was too slow and borring for my tastes, but ME2 looks MUCH better both graphically and gameplay wise. I'd probably buy it if it were on PS3. Kudos to BioWare on that. I always respect a developer who improves upon themselves.......unlike Activision and Infinity Ward. They seem to like taking steps backwards and resting on their laurels this gen.

I had the same problem. I gave up and sold him the lyrium.

I'm just curious...but why this PS3 game support forum is 'hidden' to non-registered users, while the PC and Xbox 360 support forums are available for all to see? Is Bioware/EA intentionally trying to hide the problems the PS3 version of this game has to the masses? I'm not pointing fingers, just noticed this earlier today when I visited this site while not at home. :innocent:

Quite sad really; my respect for Bioware has gone down the drain.

I saved Arl eamon and I automatically checked on the quest to notice that I had a new chantry board quest named "Jowan's Intentions", I assume this is because I released him from his cell and told him to get lost.
I have been searching on the map for around about an hour and I cannot find the smegger >_>
After checking on the net it seems to be a common problem so I would liek to know whetehr anyone else has actually completed this quest or whether I did something wrong.

I wonder if the web guys even know about this problem; maybe someone should post this down in the social site help section.
