I have been wondering this for a while now and reading these forums people say that paying 60$ was too much for the game.

I personally paid 36€ (thats about 50$) for Signature Edition and it was brand spanking new, not used. I saw the SE in stores close to me going for over 60€ (that would be 85$) but because I ordered mine from abroad I saved lot of cash :)
Also I ordered DAO+Awakening+all DLCs for 10€ from same place as I bought DA2.

How about you? How much did you pay for DA2?

Around 51,5 bucks on current exchange rate, but I also got a 1600 BWpoints card as a bonus.

Because of the SE soundtrack it was well worth it. I'm still waiting for patches before I leap in for a second playthrough.

Bugs are bad.

Dragon Age 2 - £28.41 pre-ordered from Amazon.

The Witcher 2 - £24.58 pre-ordered from Amazon.

Wasn't impressed with DA2 and won't pre-order another BioWare game until I've read a good spread of constructive user reviews.  I pre-ordered it on the back of my thorough enjoyment of Origins and Awakenings.

Haven't played it through a second time yet and haven't had any desire to do so yet. Can't grumble about the price I paid though overall... certainly compared to what some people seem to have paid, especially the often over-priced console versions.

Will reserve my final judgement for The Witcher 2 until it's out and I've played it, but from what I've already seen from developer blogs and footage, I'm already expecting to enjoy it far more than I did DA2. Also pre-ordered this because I thoroughly enjoyed The Witcher Enhanced Edition.

$90 AUS. (Yes, new release games are ridiculously expensive here, thanks for noticing.)

Since I've now played the game for more than one hundred hours, I consider it money well spent.

Wow. Stupid Aussie prices. I went for AU$89 in a box. (I do like my box - and the fact that I can't be bothered looking for bargains. But this is the first time I've actually felt stupid - despite all of the "dumbed down" and everything else chatter.)

@Dubya Pounds? Your username suggests USA, all the way. (Doesn't it?)

70 USD (this is PC version, the console costs 90$ new).

Hm... I never realised things were so expensive where I live. Oh well, considering I have already spent over 100 hours on the game I'd say that is a bargain.

Nothing. It was a holiday gift. Though, my ex-paid for the SE edition from Gamestop on pre-order. Either fifty/sixty or so. And it was the best money he ever spent. :)

My husband pre-ordered the signature edition for me and it cost him €50. It was a present for both my birthday and the birth of our third child. I have to say it was the best present ever. I really enjoyed my recovery at home after the surgery, relaxing with a great game and my gorgeous little boy. Definitely worth every cent. :)
