I paid €32 for the signature edition, not bad, I'd say. Image IPB

£28.99 for the preorder, (for some reason I didn't bother with the SE, which I regretted after). It also cost me £5 for release day shipping, which I debated the value of.

Turns out it was a good move. I ordered something else from said, 'retailer', on their free shipping and it never turned up :P

Saying that like heathxxx next time I think I'll take a look at some of the reviews before I jump, 'blind', into another Bioware game.

I paid $39.99 when Amazon had it on deal of the day a little while back.

I thought about pre-ordering but then when I saw the Signature Edition had no physical extras, not even a hard copy CD for the soundtrack, I passed. Then when the game came out I noticed it had VERY mixed user reviews (I always ignore the critics reviews) I again passed. Finally, when it went down to $39.99 I caved.

I guess I think it was worth $40 but definitely not $50 or $60. I don't mind paying a lot for a great game but this one was kind of eh for me.

On the other hand I have the Witcher 2 Collector's Edition on pre-order for $129 + tax and shipping which is by far the most I have ever paid for a game, but I'm expecting it to be really good and I like all the physical extra items they are offering.

Same here.

Otherwise I would have waited until the price drops to $40.

I'm pretty sure I paid $60 US for the signature edition. That's about $55 too much for a title that should have gone straight to the bargain bin.

$60 US sig addition, sad to say, not money well spent for me. DAO's $55 was money well spent as I am still playing it (damn I want to be in the other crowd).

I'm surprised no-one's already said it: TOO MUCH!

I'm ashamed my pre-order (on the strength of DA.O) contributes to the sales figures for DA2 .. it *will not* happen again..

Almost the same here. Though there was an extra fee to pay, because the game is rated 18. For some strange reason this costs 5 bucks extra if you order it from Amazon.

*le sigh* same here, bought it on DAO's awesomeness (no button for it needed? Sorry, really, I couldn't resist).;)

Got the Sig also on the strength of DA:O. I would have been perfectly happy had I got the game half-price, because it really isn't *horrible* still, I feel mostly bad because it is a number being used to legitimize the *success* of the sales, where it really signifies the *hope* I had for DA2 rather than anything for or against it after the fact. It is a 7/10 I guess, but I won't pre-order the next one, regardless. I may get it, if it looks like they listened to us and were given enough time to make it quality. I paid full price Sig edition. i don't regret it, because I did it for the right reasons. I just won't necessarily do that again.

Around 51,5 bucks on current exchange rate, but I also got a 1600 BWpoints card as a bonus.

Because of the SE soundtrack it was well worth it. I'm still waiting for patches before I leap in for a second playthrough.

Bugs are bad.

The soundtrack is in game? I wonder what the game sounds like without it.

How did you get a 1600 point bioware card?

For me I got the SE for $50 plus tax

I paid too much. $60 for a non standard edition, never got around to pre-order, bought it day it came out. Won't do that again for the Next Bioware game. I'll wait and research.

£26.99 bought online, free delivery
currently that's $44.13 or €30.54

glad I didn't pay more. would've happily paid double if it'd been at least half as good as Origins though

No! Never buy any game from any Australian store as they all are at rip off prices! I paid $47 Australian for my signature edition, delivered from the UK. if you go to www.ozgameshop.com it is a UK based store the caters for the Australian market. They don't charge for delivery. Most of their prices are pretty much half of what you would pay in Australia. The only catch is that you have to wait about a week before you get the game, annoying when everyone else gets to play the game but you. But the savings more then make it worth the wait.
