$110 AU Dollars when i Pre-ordered SE.

The store was having a sale on day 1 though and i had $11 taken off, so really its $99. Was it worth it? Hell no.

BTW to Americans out there. Australian Dollar is hovering directly equal to American dollar ($1 AUD = 1 USD), so if you are complaining that $40-60 is too much, us Australians have to pay twice that amount.

$40-60 is a bargain down here, the price of used games.

The reason is because our Government heavily taxes video games, i believe.

I´m sorry about that, i knew australians had it worse but what you talk about is a very dire situation. Can´t you get your games overseas at a lower price? I suffer from something similar but not as extreme, here in Spain the prices tend to be higher than the UK (but the standard of life is lower), it is mostly the retailers that abuse their position. So these days i order most games and i tend to save a fair bit of money, plus i get the game in english without complications.

About DA2, i paid 37.5 € for the signature edition and i thought it was a bargain considered how priced was DAO. Then i played the game and realised why the price was lower. I should have waited instead of falling into the pre-order trap, i guess i got what i deserved for buying blindly before waiting for reviews.

AUD $88. Which translates to about.. USD $88. Yup.

edit : Klume you got robbed. I got my SE for ^. Mykel yes you could buy overseas, there is a very popular site right now that offers most new release games at european prices and plenty of people are buying from them. Of course regular retailers are catching on and are demanding taxes on these things as well. This is why we can't have nice things.

About 50 EUR on Steam. 'Cos EA apparently does not sell to my country ...

And I became lazy to the level that I just open Steam and buy whatever cayches my eye.

Full price (49.90 €), and with 170 hours of playtime (according to Steam) i'd say i got my money's worth (for comparasion: Origins 519, New Vegas 630, Oblivion 910) . So much time wasted, but atleast i enjoyed wasting it ^_^

I got it for 24 American dollars on amazon. You can get DA2 or the SE for like 28-38 dollars and i even saw PC versions selling for 18. Dragon age Origins Ultimate edition cost more then DA2.

Bloody Australia...

No! Never buy any game from any Australian store as they all are at rip off prices! I paid $47 Australian for my signature edition, delivered from the UK. if you go to www.ozgameshop.com it is a UK based store the caters for the Australian market. They don't charge for delivery. Most of their prices are pretty much half of what you would pay in Australia. The only catch is that you have to wait about a week before you get the game, annoying when everyone else gets to play the game but you. But the savings more then make it worth the wait.

I would gladly start buying from this store if I knew that it is reliable so I have to ask this question. Have you had any problems in terms of quality ?

I have bought a few games from them and there is no problem with the quality, it's just like I went to an Australian store and bought from them. I am actually going to do another order for some games now

£9.99 off amazon uk

If i like it i'll add the £3.10 worth of bioware points i need for the exiled prince ( currently have 240 left over from ME2 Arrival purchase) which would bring the total price to £13.09

$50 too many. It'll be the first and last BioWare game I'll ever pre-order.

Hehehehehehehehehehe :-) Nice guys. I bought the game today. ONLY BECAUSE:
~ They add Mass Effect 2 for FREE with some additional content.
~ They add something called "The Black Emporium" to DA II
~ They cut price to 70 PLN. It's about 25 USD or 17 EUR.

Sounds like Bioware is desperate to sell it because game sell much worst than DA:O. And since DA II is a crap then well... Anyway, glad to get it for 25 USD with Mass Effect II. MEII it's fun shooter with RPG elements but I like cinematic style of the game. It's just didn't apply to DAII. Sorry Bioware, better luck next time and thx for bundle.

30 euros on preorder with all the dlc. Then got Mass Effect 2 later on, I'm very satisfied as I got one good game and a great game that has peeked my interest for sci-fi again.
