Since they draw their power from getting wounded. Relying on health potions or a healer instead?

As a Reaver, you can heal yourself (check the tree). But I wouldn't recommend playing without armor. You can also lose health via the Reaver tree if you're so inclined. I don't use that skill, though. On nightmare, you get hurt anyway.

You tend to take alot of damage anyway, and you have skills that hurt yourself to increase the process. No need to get yourself killed.

Use sacrificial frenzy and aura of pain if you want to lose health. Use devour if you are about to die.
