Hi all,

Had a major hard disk failure a while ago and bought a new Xbox, reinstalled ME2 and all the DLC, tried to install Arrival and my game went boom. It actually forced me to reinstall Zaeed, Firewalker and Overlord before it would let me use my old save files, and I still can't access Arrival.

I've tried clearing my cache, reinstalling the game, reinstalling the DLC, etc. All the fun stuff.

I do have one question though, Do I have to hit a checkpoint in the game (First recruit/Horizon/Suicide mission etc) before I can go do arrival?

cheers

I wouldn't mind so much, but on top of having to replay ME1 and ME2 about six times to rebuild all of my lost saves, this bites.

I only play NG+ games (I HATE re levelling up) and guess what? NG+ is broken for me thanks to Arrival

You don't mention doing the license transfer which is known to prevent dlc from being reused on a new 360.

I think that should be your first port of call if you haven't already done so.

Arrival should be triggered after Horizon though I have read claims from elsewhere that it is available from the start. I would recommend playing it after the Suicide Mission myself otherwise the story doesn't make as much sense.

I didn't mention it because I'd forgotten about it, but yes I have done that. First thing I did when I got the new x-box home. Transferred 168 game licenses on the 15th of March.

I'll continue playing till Horizon and see if it pops up. From what I've been told of Arrival, I agree that it fits after the suicide mission story wise, but I've beaten ME2 numerous times so at this point I just want to play the story.

Many thanks, i"ll report back if it works.

If you've completed ME2 before, you could also load up one of those games and Arrival should just pop up. Though I have read that for one or two others that it didn't work properly.
