Hi there.
Yesterday I finally compleated DA2 after 42 hour worth of gameplay. as the credits rolled, I decided to come here and read up on the dragonage wiki to see what would of happened in different playthroughs. the credits screen ended long before that and I was sent back to the main title screen, and I turned the xbox off.
I turned DA2 on this morning, thinking I would go and read all the codexes, and go back to my save before I went onto the final parts of the story to get the final crafting materials to get the acheivment, but I notied there were no saves at all. I started a new game for now, but Im just wandering if this is a bug/corruption or whether its supposed to just dissapear.
thanks.
Are my saves just supposed to dissapear?

Sounds weird, though i haven't completed this game yet so i can't say. However if the save files are corrupted you should see this in the xbox 360 system dashboard (Memory . hard drive - Dragon Age 2). Look up the save files, if the picture shows a yellow triangle sign, then it is corrupted.

Ok, just went back to look and it is definatly not corrupted (as I suspected, I turned the game off while it was at the main screen) and my save files are definatly there, as it still said marian_325 (ro something like that, the name of the char and the save number) yet they still refuse to come up at load game.

The only instance every savefile 'disappeared' for me was directly after the update. I'd seen this before on other games, so I started a new game, saved, then quit. Can't recall if I exited to dashboard, but hey presto - all the previous characters/savefiles reappeared.
But if you've updated DA2 and turned your machine on again, and they're still not there? Then that's different. Maybe try clearing the HDD cache, and relaunching?

Something similar happened to me after I beat my first playthrough. I started a few new characters since then, and my old saves showed up under one of my newer characters. Needless to say, it was very bizarre.
