I need a bit of help. I've decided to start writing an ME FanFic and I've uploaded the first chapter to fanfiction.net I've waited for a while (2 days to be precise) and it still doesn't show up when I look for it. However FF.net sent me a message, giving me the link:

Which means it is on there. Can someone explain this to me?

Well at least I know it is on there publicly. But why does the search engine fail to find it? It makes no sense.

Seems that none of the stories published after (at least) 14/04/2011 show up in the search results - maybe they're just slow to update their search cache?
