Actually this is true.

The few surviving Dinosaur's eventually made their way to Tuchanka and Palaven, where they became the Krogan and Turians respectively.

Only the Reapers could have been thorough enough to wipe out the Dinosauars. I mean why else have we found no Dinosaur cities or barely any fossils for that matter? Hmm? It's cause the Reaper's did it. Saren and the Geth couldn't have possibly put all those bones in the ground. Although I'm sure the Turian Councillor would "dismiss" my claims.

Ah yes "Dinosaurs" an earth species alledgedly wiped out by the Reapers 65 million years ago. Bah we have dismissed that claim.

They didn't have a renegade dinosaur Shepard so I guess that's why they're extinct now...

Actually I always kind of figured that the idea might be that the asteroid which wiped out the dinosaurs might have been from an errant shot by a giant Mass Driver cannon that missed a reaper. I think there's some circumstantial evidence to support this in the games:

1) In ME 1 (or is it 2?) you find a random non-essential planet where the data file on the planet suggests that a mass extinction occurred for JUST THIS REASON. Meaning that there definitely was at least one point in time where a space faring races was shooting gigantic guns at reapers, and occasionally missing.

2) The "Sir Issac Newton is the Deadliest SOB In Space Speech". He makes a point, if you fire a gun in space, you are ruining someone's day somewhere, sometime.

I often wondered about that question myself OP. Though does anybody else think that odd skull found on Maji in ME1 looks like a T-Rex skull?

I believe that was supposed to be a dragon. And we all know each dragon generation is born with the culminative knowledge of each of the previous generations of dragons. So they were the ones that were probably wiped out.

And imagine if dinos had lived on. Oh my, First Contact might have looked a weeeeee bit different.

No, they weren't an advanced enough race to catch the reapers attention.

T-rex had only recently discovered the Citadel when the Reapers showed up and annihilated them.

What if the comet that hit the Earth causing their extinction was a mass accelerator weapon that was fired and missed its target during the prothean reaper war?

Recall the 3 soldier convo in the citadel regarding Newton and mass accelerator weapons...

EDIT: OOPS! Sorry, didnt read you post Mr. Gone. Disregard.
