Merrill Act 3 bug resettable?

Is there a console command or editor value I can change to move Merrill's quest line to just after bringing her from the mountain?

The Merrill bug must have acted up on me. I didn't speak to her at the start of Act 3, I patched 1.02, finished her quest line, but there is no closing dialogue at all. All I can think of is that it bugged before I patched and I never saw it, now I never will because the patch reset something.

I am really disappointed because I am playing through a second time and I saw the glitched scene the first playthrough. But it seems to changce dependent on your relationship through Act 3. I now can't see the one that includes my choices :(

I don't have the console activated, but I could if need. I do have gffeditor and daosavegame if anyone knows what lines and values to adjust.

Yes, it is late in Act 3 and I have full friendship.

Not sure this helps but I reloaded at the start of Act 3 and ran through the quests again. Merrill's dialogue functioned properly. But not sure why your's bugged out. Probably worth mentioning just incase that mine was the Rival Path and not Friendship.

I would just love if someone could tell me if I can set any script lines with the editor so I can do the very last part of the quest. The talk to Merrill at her house part.

wouldn't you just use the zz_dae_debug and then find the chat you want to initiate?

You can use it to innitiate some dialog if it hasn't happened yet. But I do not believe you can get it to intiate a conversation you already had with a character.

Didn't work. Thanks for the idea though. Apparently I have gone through all the dialogues with her, even if I haven't seen them.
