Gotta say I've, so far, been HIGHLY disappointed in how the online system of this game has been working out for me.  I cannot connect to the Dragon Age servers at ALL.  Even though every other aspect of xbox live and being online works out fine.  I even know it's talking some to the servers.  I get the following error message, "Please try again."  No error codes, no nothing.  I have talked to EA, done all the troubleshooting, even down to formatting my xbox HD and clearing the cache, no luck.  Set the xbox into the DMZ, no luck.  I have even tried to register a new email and, while I did get the activation email, I still get that error in game.

I cannot access any of my DLC due to this.  Worked fine on day one and now... nothing.

I had this problem when I first got my game. I don't know if you tried this, but what fixed it for me was unlinking my GamerTag and my EA account.

My game has never once said it's successfully logged into the dragon age servers.. I always get the error at the beginning of the game... Yet every now and then my profile updates. I have no idea what's going on.

I did it on the phone with an EA customer support agent. The line for the phone is usually very long, so if you call them I'd do it early in the morning if possible. They open 8am Pacific Time I believe.

Ok, I came here to verify that WolfBro87 is absolutely correct. I used the live chat support to have the guy remove my gamertag from my EA account. Once he verified that was done, I can FINALLY log back into the servers properly.



This is the first time I've seen my DLC since release day. AWESOME and thanks for the tip wolfbro!

Where is the live chat support? Or is there anyway to do the unlink yourself? I also only started having this problem once I linked my EA account to my gamertag. Step by step instructions?

Just to answer the questions, I had the EA chat person unlink my gamertag. That is all. Then I used the EA account information in-game to re-associate the gamertag with my EA account just like the first day it came out and it worked great. Been working great ever since as well.



Just go into the chat support, explain to them your problem, then wait for them to copy/paste all the useless technical internet connection problem information. Then ask them to remove your gamertag entirely from your EA account. After they confirm they have done this, while they are waiting, try to log in from the game again. Worked immediately for me.

i was on the support chat bit and asked for it to be unlinked and was told it would delete my entire gamerscore, thats 12k of gamerscore so i don't want to do it. did anyone else have their gamerscore wiped when trying to get it unlinked?

ok i know now that unlinking my gamertag will fix it, but i asked the guy and he said i will reply via email, its been forever and i still have no reply! oh and by the way i did this on live chat, please help someone!

I talked to ea chat. I just got the run around and some generic bs. He tried to tell me I must not be connected the the internet.........but.......then how am I talking to you? Plus I was connected to Xbox live.

Sometime im log in ,, but in the middle of the game im off , try connect 2 DA Servers Again ,

starts Jokes ,,like u no connected 2 Internet ,, or try Later , well i connect 2 DA & 2 Bioware Sites

& try again log in , weel again weird Joke "u not connected 2 Internet : m but im inside the Site..

hate if any1 thing that we kids in 2010 Idiots or what ever , ((
