Garrus' stumbling is cute and not at all kitten-like. Stumbling can describe kittens often, however, so it's important to note the separate connotations. It's easy to keep track of these things so long as you don't begin associating Garrus with balls of yarn.
I still don't understand. Or how that could be attractive to someone.

Romantic: Reunion with Liara (After a long waited period, finally there's a chance for this "previous" lover to 'reengage' their relationship, and it turns out so great!)
Sexy: Jack (When she finally opens herself up to Shepard, she's not a bit*h anymore but a woman in love. A woman in love is always sexy to me)

Sexiest: I'm gonna have to go with Miranda. Dat ass.
Most romantic: Strangely enough, if you take the renegade option after Jacob's infamous 'priiiiiiize' line, he tells you he loves you. The only new LI to do so I might add.
Cutest: Tali, without a doubt. 'And now I'm rambling', so damn adorable.
The Best: Wait by Ashley's photograph, smile sadly, exit room with new resolve to return. Gets me every time, my Shepard is somewhat better looking than Sheploo, the smile looks a bit better..

Guess I'll give my 2 cents, even if I wasn't much of a fan of the ME2 romances.
Romantic: Thane/Jacob
Cute: Garrus
Sexy: Miranda
The Best LI though was Samara. She's the only character I'd probably have trouble staying faithful to Ashley for.
FemShep had the better romances IMHO. Jack's was to rushed and Tali's was written Tali fan's (I'm neutral to her.)

Romantic and Sexy : Thane
Besides the fact that he's definitely easy on the eyes, confidence is sexy and Thane has cool, calm and collected in the bag. Except in the romance scene where he's all shaken up (which brings that scene to life since it takes something pretty major to ruffle Thane's feathers). Epic. Table. Fistpunch. Gets me every time. Every time.
Cute in the 'Awww'kward sense : Tali and Garrus
With Garrus, it's the wine, the cheesy flux music, the entire set up is just too adorkable. But the line and the headbump, so cute that you can't help but smile.
I admit, I've only watched the Tali romance (Mr.Kai) but it was pretty sweet, sometimes almost verging on sugar overload. But the romance scene was touching, to think of what she'll risk just to be close to the man she loves.
I do think all the romances were done well in ME2. I like that they all feel different from eachother and in the end, the romance scene is different for all of them. And I think they nailed the different character's personality / intent pretty darn well.

Cutest : Tali / Liara
Sexiest : Miranda
Most romantic / emotional : Miranda
"So don't die! You promise me, damn it!"
"It doesn't work that way. We could all be dead this time tomorrow. So if it's not worth it ... "
"No, it is"

Male LI :
Cutest : Garrus
Sexiest : Jacob
Most romantic / emotional : Thane

But that would defeat the purpose, so I'll say...
Cutest: Garrus - I laugh every time I hear those lines.
Sexiest: Pure "chicka-chicka-bow-bow"? Miranda. For what I actually think is hot? the ME1 scenes. I prefer femshep/Kaidan, but that romance scene was classy and yet sexy
Most Romantic: Liara - Very well set up in ME1 and ME2 - her romance subplot was the best set up out of all the LIs in the story - like she's supposed to be the "canon" romance.

I wouldn't count Jacob and Mrianda, or any Acheivement Romance casual. Jacob admits to fallingin love with Shepard and Miranda says "this is no time for love" I doubt the word love comes up in casual romances.jellobell wrote...
Yes, that's the perfect way to group them. Bioware characters are very archetypal, and you can especially see that in the tones of their romances.Collider wrote...
Archetypes:
1. "Sexy" casual romance - Jacob/Miranda
2. Cute, awkward friends to lovers romance - Garrus/Tali
3. Tragic characters - Thane/Jack

I guess I thought of "casual" as meaning, more "fun" and less baggage to go along with it.ADLegend21 wrote...

Miranda and Jacob should be grouped together because the tone of their romances are very similar. As are Jack's and Thane's, and Garrus and Tali's.

to be honest you are saying that out of context to the whole conversation she means by it that emotions pick the worse time to come when reapers are coming and they know the most about the collectors than anyone else (especially considering she is almost in tears when she says you 'Don't Die on Me Dammit'
sexiest and most romantic romance is with miranda simply because of the love scenes and how much she changes (in a positive way) when thinking of you when romantically involved
Funniest - Garrus - simply because of how awkward the situation is with Garrus (not done this romance but seen the youtube clips of it
Weirdest - Jack (Paragon Romance) put off by the crying in the romance scene (i know why she is crying) but I would get put off well doing it when she is crying makes me feel like i should stop (plus i cant stand Jack)
Most Dissapointing Romance - Tali (simply because of the lack of seeing her face even when they hyped it that you will be seeing her face then you just see her mask on the floor and thats it)

Cutest: Jack Paragon.
Romantic: Jack Paragon again. Seriously. Tali's ends with her making out with you. With Miranda, you just screw off on the floor. Jack = making out, cuddling, holding hands, more cuddling, and much more emotional affair than the other two as well.
Sorry, but Jack > all.

I think the "cutest" romance is probably Garrus. Much of it is played for laughs, and Garrus himself acknowledges the WTF-ness of it.
The most romantic is Samara's non-romance, "another time, another life". Romances that actually come to fruition aren't all that romantic or interesting. Ask any scripted-TV series writer.
Sexiest is Miranda. I mean, we actually get to see some skin, and watch them tussle in the engine room for a bit rather than just a 'fade to black'.
The BEST one, though, is Liara's, because it's a continuation from the first game, and Liara actually asks you how you're doing.

I just didn't see it coming. Sort of makes me wonder what it would have been like if it were a full romance.Eradyn wrote...
Why would you be? Hers was an unrequited romance, but it was still done well. I suppose I could substitute Liara, but I preferred Samara's handling.
I like your analysis, but I wish to add something here: Liara asks you that regardless of your relationship status with her. Also, both Jacob and Thane ask Shepard how she's doing at some point through the romance.Siansonea II wrote...

Just a Side Question is Samara & Kelly Chamber really considered a Romance? It seems more of a one time fling with Kelly. Samara is more devoted to her code than to start a Romance with Shepard.

Well, that's fair. I don't really consider it 'attractive' either, but I appreciate the amusement I get out of witnessing it in storytelling sometimes. That's sort of how I feel about Tali's character, in any case -- she's top tier material for me but I wouldn't say I find her or her cute romance dialogue 'attractive'. It's just entertaining to me.
