I scoured the EA forums and the internet in general and was unable to
find the answer I need. I tried searching this forum but the search
feature seems broken right now, it either times out or returns a screen
with no results and no confirmation of it's search feature actually ran
successfully. But I digress....

Anyway, I bought the game for my
PS3 on Saturday (5 days ago, Nov 14th, 2009) and installed it on my
PS3. It started fine but had some large load times. I played for about
an hour before having to turn the game off due to company coming over.
I saved it and turned the machine off. Last night, my wife wanted to
play so we started it up and it would just sit at the initial white and
red loading screen, with the picture of the pulsating gem or whatever
in the woman's hand. We let it sit there for close to 15 mins before
retrying. After about an hour of trying to get it to load, I deleted
all the save game data and tried again with the same results. I deleted
the install of the game completely and reinstalled and tried again but
the same thing happened. I put in other games and they work fine. I
updated the PS3 firmware before installing the game (on Saturday) so
it's up to date. I figured the game disc was the problem. So we
returned it to Best Buy for a brand new copy. This new copy does the
exact same thing.

Can anyone help? I know the game is only a
couple weeks old but someone else has had to have this spring up. Any
advice would be great.
