How do you know DA2 is a massive let down?

Because someone in ALL HONESTY not trolling suggested people try Two Worlds II instead because it had more RPG in the RPG.

I love ME2 and still do just because I felt connected with it but I also see how absolutely ****ty the storyline was, itemization/inventory and bull**** dlcs (except lotsb)

1. Dragon Age Origins (including all DLCs)

2. Warhammer Online

3. Dragon Age 2

4. Mass Effect 2

(Only BioWare games I've played.)

Agreed! But better than BG2? I would say no.

I couldn't rank the Bioware games if I had to, but I know BG 1 & 2 would be at the top of the list for sure.

Yes.  It's just hard to tell because of the gradually declining quality of BioWare games.

Well, Mythic was rolled into BioWare (now called BioWare-Mythic, surprisingly), and they're now in the Houston studio or something working on TOR.  The former Mythic is responsible for the PvP aspects of TOR, it seems like.

Plus I spotted a few of the Mythic folks in the credits for DA2.

[*]I wouldn't call it the end of BioWare but the end of the BioWare story structure. Most of BioWare's games followed this pattern when it came to stories: first you had an intro to introduce you to your character and abilities, then an opening act to move you into the story, then four quest hubs, then the end. And while BioWare had tried different ways of telling a story before (Jade Empire), it wasn't until Mass Effect 2 that they really began to move away from that and find a new way to present their ideas. The road so far has been... rough, and riddled with reduced replay value and rush production schedule. Still, there are moments where they get it right, and I would rather BioWare master different arts of story crafting than reverting back to the BioWare formula.

I think Bioware did a pretty good job with DA2 given the timeline they had to work with, and I'm sure they didn't choose to have such a short timeline.

While I wish that Bioware had had more time to work on their baby, I'm at least glad that they didn't go the route of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series...now that was a disheartening, disgusting, and disappointing situation.

I've been told that many ntimes.. very rarely a compliment. Anyways, KOTOR is a weird game. Overall I liked it. The story and character is arguabley as good as any BIO game but the combat outside of pretty lightsabres is just subpar and the characetr system is basically a dumbed down version of NWN's. KOTOR is a 75ish.

Not really. NWN is the best true rpg every created for video games. Let's make it clear, when I say NWN I mean all of NWN. The OC alone is around KOTOR quality - merely average and amongst BIO's worst offerings.
