This may help more than just thoes with a GeForce GTX 295 Card. It may help all that have SLI and PhysX configurations.

For me the game would not load and would freeze the computer. I went into my Nvidia control pannel and made sure the following is selected:

Enable Quad SLI

If you have this on your video cards I would suggest making sure this in enabled and it just may fix your non loading and freezing when tying to load issues on quad core computers.
