I have a better idea let us players redesign it how ever we chose. If we Cerberus fans want the Cerberus logo on it then let us Bioware. you know those monkeys and pathetic clowns at the Alliance can not do a better job than us players can

Also whole platoon on Normandy SR-2 can't fit for unless they are in cargo hold.

I want Shepards Rapeface as logo and flame painting. Also, the engine exhaust should be colored pink and every Turian onboard has to wear hats, Salarians Make-Up and the Asari get artificial beards. Krogan have to wear dresses and Geth are assigned to beat the Tetris record.

It would be nice if Shepard had his own space station Suikoden style. It would give you a huge area to upgrade, with more recruitable characters that could move there, and you could modify or upgrade the Normandy with cutscenes included where the upgrades and other changes are applied. With each race and character you recruit, the station changes and upgrades and grows and more cool stuff unlocks. Ahhh...a man can dream....

-I want the Normandy to have that dark-submarine like feel of the SR1, with heavy blues. Judging by the concept art in the GI, they seem to be going that route.
-No more Cerberus logos.
-More customisation of the ship, I want it to feel like MY ship.
-I want Shepard's quarters to have more stuff, including a television that you can watch and just switch channels like GTA 4.
-A bar / lounge area.

1. no obvious loading screen in normandy- BRING BACK STAIRS AND ELEVATORS

2.weapon experimentation room ( for all the mods)-possible testing on armour shield and barrier dummy target

3.armour modular cutomization for teammates( just like for shep´s kestrel armour)

4.teammember moving and interacting between eachother

5.more crew, with their stories and personalities

I think that it's important for the Normandy to look like what it is.

Shepard's base of operations.
We know that the battles in ME3 will be massive, so I think that it would be important for the CIC to be have a greater purpose than just being where the galaxy map is. The question is, how do you create that sense of importance for a specific area of the ship?

Sure, the CIC is already the second most important part of the ship, apart from the meeting room. A lot of cutscenes take place in it, and Joker runs past it when the Collectors board the ship. I think that, if more attention is given to the crew on the CIC and having them involved in cutscenes, it would be a good start.

How about a training room? Great for newcomers as a tutorial. Could be a VR room of some sort to conserve space. Also that red looks better than I expected. More usage of places where crew is actually supposed to hang out and relax.

The only thing I really want is the ability to move around the whole ship without the need for loading screens. Don't know if it is possible, but ME3 is meant to have larger environments so hopefully the Normandy can be loaded as one environment.

Also:
-Spectre logos instead of Cerberus
-As Phaedon said, more focus on the CIC
-As Merchant2006 said, some ambient music
-The outside and inside to match up - i.e. why can't you see the Observation windows during cutscenes for example?

Otherwise I actually really like the Normandy as it is.

Completely agree with this. And on the hub worlds too... although that's for another thread. I want ambient music back so bad.

Ambient music is great but I must admit that Rob was right when he said that too much music can desensitise you like it has me in ME1. I really didn't even notice it until I thought about his words.

I think I've said this before but i love this idea.  I also like the idea of a secluded/unmarked planet where you can have an upgradable base that grow as you progress, and since it would be on a planet you could have deffense cannons that could be upgraded to Thanix cannons.  Haha we can dream

Why are we presuming that the ME3 Normandy cutscenes (or any of its cutscenes for that matter) will be pre-rendered? You never know until you get the game. They might as well decide to go the live-engine rendering route to save up some disk space.

It's not necessarilly a bad thing.
I really disliked this lack of 'desensatisation' in ME2. After all, desensatisation, means that you are absorbed by something, doesn't it?

This. I want Pinnacle Station VR scenarios available on the Normandy.

That and no loading screens onboard, active and moving crew and crew that interact with each other.
