There are models with a very high poly count, high res textures, and overall better lighting. I really don't think that they are not pre-rendered.
I never said "not pre-rendered". I said they were prerendered with the game engine. My main point was that they weren't typical CGI cutscenes done using some other, external, more powerful graphics rendering package, a la the trailers. And I already said pretty much the same thing about the SM.

Sometimes they could be in their cabin, and other times they could be at their stations, doing whatever.
It got kinda old seeing them all in the same exact spots in ME/ME2.

UT3 has been designed to render in realtime, and it has some major limitations. I don't see why Bioware wouldn't use a stronger engine.

- A Calibrations mini-Game that is damn addicting, and occasionally other NPCs can try to interrupt by starting conversations with us, and we have to tell them to go away.
- A laundry room maybe? Here we can choose what the uniform of the crew is, and we can customize its colors (from a few options).
- Speaking of this. I want every major room to have at least one thing to do ala the science bay and armory in ME2:
Sickbay - Look at the medical records of the crew/Get a checkup from the Doc
Mess Hall - Grab a quick meal (occasionally NPCs enter a conversation with you during)
Hangar Bay - Use a firing range mini-game against fellow crew
Forward Batteries - Take control of guns and squeeze off a few rounds when in an asteroid feild
- A Brig, or makeshift brig that ISN'T the ship's damn AI core! Seriously I thought the dumbest thing that ever occurred in ME2 was the fact that you stuck [that one character] in the AI core when you first encountered him. The core! That's a disaster waiting to happen!
- If there are intership battles, have a "battlestations" mode for the CIC. Heck even if there are, have the ability to run a battlestations drill in the CIC.
These are the main things.

I don't like the mini game idea, they seem unnecessary to me.
I would like to have more options available to customize Shepard's armor but I don't really care that much about being able to customize the Normandy's appearance or the crew's uniforms. I don't know how much time and effort it would take to make that possible, but I think it would be better spent on other parts of the game.
