I always play as a Paragon but I use a lot of Renegade interrupts simply because they're badass.

I always do the aforementioned headbutt renegade interrupt. Some of them make me feel bad but never that one.

That´s why I want to do so sometime in the future
As for the question, I play how I see fit for the character I have in mind. If there´s no plan for a particular char, then I´ll just make the choices I think are right for that situation =)

I do, I just role with sheploo because making a decent looking guy is difficult in the ME series.
yeah, i got pretty lucky, it took me hours to make a desent looking custom player. and of course i play as a paragade, whatever option i truely would say but im mainly paragon just to get charm options ( i dont like that system) they try to punish neutral-ish players. how does that make sence? you are alienating a whole playstyle! but i digress.

I tried making a character I liked but talking with jacob at the beginning of ME2 and seeing how bad the noses look on custom sheps in certain angles in the game, I just said the hell with it. Not to mention complexion is pretty bad aswell. I wouldn't say I play paragade but I generally do all good choices and press most renegade interrupts (usually don't press the really mean ones though

Alot of people seem to either go renegade or paragon just because they can, I want to know how many of you have a mixed alignment and choose based on what YOU would do?

My very first playthrough of ME1 & 2 i remember were the least meta and were mostly choices I think I would have made. I've never even tried to make a character look like me. It would involve alot of looking at a hand mirror and tweaking settings and probably look like an awful representation. Now, If I could scan my face into the game it would be awesome.
I wouldn't say my Shepard is anywhere near an exact match but I was lucky enough that one of the defaults wasn't too far out. Then I just gave him a beard and a bald head and I was pretty close. It's just a shame there's no option for giving him glasses

I wish someone would make a character based on Kiefer Sutherland. I need it for my final playthrough before ME3. Paragade type of character.

I think he'd look better without the blonde hair though, and go a little more 'Darker' as he is in later seasons of 24.
Thanks for the link.

I did that until I realized that the game actually punishes me for not playing a one dimensional stereotype.
I've heard that a few times on this thread but both I, and others, have pointed out that it's perfectly possible to mix your responses as the situation and your own preferences dictate.
Playing a schizophrenic who just picks Renegade and Paragon at random might result in problems. Playing an indecisive character who likes to stay on the fence all the time could result in problems but, I think justifiably so. One is mentally unstable the other is a wimp. Either way, I'm quite happy for them to be less successful than a Shepard who knows where he stands and isn't afraid to show it.
Having said that, you certainly don't have to be completely constrained to all Renegade or all Paragon in order to avoid being penalized. There's plenty of scope for mixing things up and sitll having Charm or Initimidate available whenever you need it. I don't really feel any of my Shepards are one-dimensional, even the pure ones.

In ME2 I take the interrupts that I want because they fit my Shepard's character - and as I aim for Paragade or Renegon builds (because 100% of anything is bad/boring for me) I like the mix of red and blue. And if I can't "fudge" the loyalty choices I go with what my particular Shepard "likes/needs/believes" when I make the decision - and we both take the consequences. Should be "fun" in ME3.
