I use several face and makeup mods. I noticed that the makeup intensity sliders no longer adjust the intensity. Anyone know what needs to be added to the chargenmorphcfg.xml file to fix the issue?

I've noticed the same problem.... (it also happens to lip color itensity) however it only occurs when you uses a non-default presets.

Choose one of the default presets and modify accordingly. You won't have problems with the sliders behaving unexpectedly and you can still use all of the new colors and hairstyles in your mods.

Also, it may not just be a chargenmorphcfg.xml issue. presets are stored in one of the gda files, I believe, and is probably a good place to look at the problem since presets are certainly related

Thanks. That works, and I think it helped me figure out what causes that issue. I think the problem is caused by the file type of the head morph. The regular presets are .mop, whereas the extra presets I used (Cassandra, Aveline, and Isabela) are .mor. So not (at least necessarily) a .gda or .xml issue.

One thing to be aware of, some of the chargen mods add additional presets that are MORphs to the CC preset list. With these MOR additions, 70% of the sliders do nothing because the preset is based off MORph data and not a MOP (preset slider data), and the most obvious is the makeup color and intensity sliders having no effect.

I confess that I added the .mor presets to the presets list in the chargenmorphcfg.xml file myself because I wanted to make some changes to their in-game morphs without having to completely remake their facial structures. I used Cassandra's face as the basis for one of my characters without realizing the file extension made a difference (as I don't recall it making a difference in Origins, though it might have). Though it makes me want to open up the gff editor to find out exactly how the two file extensions vary.

I made Mop presets using the mor data. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2657

Mors and Mops don't work interchangeably.  I tried doing the same exact thing with Sebastian and Anders. The result was that you could get the head in game, but it would revert to a default if you tried to use the mirror of transformation.

Very well done. If I might ask, how did you do it? Surely not just GFF Editor... Or were you able to use the DAO toolset?

Just the GFF Editor.  I spent a lot of time looking at mop and mor data.

A lot of time indeed. Thanks for posting the tutorial on it as well.
