 So I just received a copy of the Ultimate edition,
after installing it, and installing all the other DLC without a problem,
I try to install the Witch Hunt DLC, but it says it is unable to install patch 1.04.
1.04 was already installed with the Ultimate Edition, so what can I do?

The Ultimate Edition of DA:O is already patched to v1.04, and Witch Hunt is already patched to v1.1. You don't need to install any patches.

@Animositisomina
I was installing the Witch Hunt DLC, which I downloaded from the BioWare social site.
So I was not patching anything, but with the install of Witch Hunt the installer automatically tried to patch Origins to 1.04, even though it is already patched to 1.04, and then it says it is not able to patch Origins to 1.04.
I have not had this problem with any other DLC, just Witch Hunt.
As Ramasys said, pretty dumb installer.

You have the Ultimate Edition, correct? Then you don't even need to download and install the DLC, it is already a part of the game. It comes pre-installed with the Ultimate Edition.

Edit: At least with the Steam version of the Ultimate Edition, all DLC were pre-installed. I didn't need to download anything from this website.

Verified. I'm having this exact same problem. I installed the DLC on top of a fresh install on a brand new laptop. :D

Now the "Installed Content" tab under DLC on the root menu has (Disabled) and (Missing requirement) tags on several items. Highlighted in red on all menus is the version number 1.04. This does lead one to the conclusion that their content is not up to date-

I am trying to install Witch Hunt as well and its giving me the same problem. It says I need game version 1.04 which I have already done. Under the Downloadable Content section of the main menu it shows Witch Hunt but the download just stays at 0%.

@Animositisomina
I have a boxed edition of the Ultimate Edition which does require manual installation of the DLC.
I think I'm going to try to install it through daupdater as a dazip instead of installing it as a stand-alone

Several problems are mentioned, and you have given no data, so it is hard to say. Using the in-game download manager seems to work best. If you are having authorization issues, see the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum.
