i found a book and it was titled ''The Anderfields''. it said it was place where the face of our lady is carved into the cliff and was a special place for the chantry. the book said thhe people from there are called Anders
just wondering if it has anything to do with Anders as they have the same name?
is there a connection here?

Yup, 'Anders' is a nickname because he comes from the Anderfelds. Its not his birth name.
Was confirmed by the devs somewhere on this forum but I'd be hard pressed to find it.

David Gaider said it was a nickname. What I can tell you is that I saw the topic in the storyline forums, and the thread was in the lines of "Anders real name" or something like that.

Anders is a very common name in Danish, but its unusual to see in an English context so I was surprised when Anders was introduced to me at first. I thought it was just a name without any connection, but looking at a DA wiki about Anderfels it seems your theory may have some truth to it.

Anders may simply be a nickname meaning "That guy from Anderfels". Like someone may be called The Irishman.
