I would like a dlc that gives us the option to hug Carver in act 2. Just because he wants to be a dick when the qunari are going nuts doesn't mean Hawke has to.

I would like to be able to do something like this

Carver: Well brother, it's been a long-
Hawke: CARVER *HUG* I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE OK
Carver: What- hey! I was being broody and dramatic and stop that let go NIGHT COMMANDEEEEER, HEEEELP

Sure, as long as it works for Grey Warden Carver too!

If by hug you mean "punch to the face" then sure.
Warden Carver is awesome. Templar Carver, not so much.

A punch to the face would just feed into his 'brother against brothe/sister' complex. A hug he has no defense against.

As Aveline says "He's a bit of a ******, your brother." I have a lot more respect for Grey Warden Carver than I do Templar Carver. I'd hug GW Carver.

I totally support this.

Carver: Hurr durr, I don't want to see you, I'm going to get back to my Grey Wardening now.
Hawke: LITTLE BRO YOU ARE ALL GROWN UP I AM SO PROUD OF YOU. *smothers Carver*

Sure, I'd like that. Enclose him in an inescapable embrace of sibling affection. Then carry him with me to the Arishok and use him as a shield.

oh my god I would love the chance to smother him. Pinch his cheeks, talk about how tall he's gotten since last Hawke saw him.

Sounds like something Merrill would do.

I would suggest that the two of them tag-team Carver, but that carries fairly... disturbing interpretations.

What about bethany? I've always thought your greetings to your family members were a bit awkward.

"Well... nice to see you I guess?"
"Hawk I almost died you ******! no hug, sense of worry or anything?"

Although I think paragon should be hug, sarcastic should be noogies. :wizard:

I would like a DLC to shove him to the ground and kick him in the face until he cries.
Him being mean would be one thing but him complaining about his brother who is working for the good of his family while he whines like a child irritates me.
If he was 14 it would be expected but he is old enough to suck it up and be a man.
I wanted to tell him "we all live in lowtown please stop complaining so we can work not to starve."

The amount of people in this thread who are whining about what a big meanie Carver is to Hawke, is hilarious.

I was so hoping I'd get to kill him along with Meredith at the end, but you know, hugs are rather disarming! Kill 'em with kindness.

OT - what's a 'noogie' and is it something one should do to one's sibling?

It saddens me that you have never gotten a noogie.

Noogie.

It's when you rub your knuckles on their head and yes you should.

He does need a hug. Poor Carver.
