After working through several errors, I find that I need the win32com python package. I download the package and it installs into my python26 folder, but I still get the same import error

am I using the wrong version of python or what?

as a complaint/whine: getting this editor to work is incredibly frustrating, I hope a new version is released that makes it more easily portable

update: I moved some of the files from the win32com folder out into the python26\\\\Lib folder. It appears to see all the files now, and there are no import errors, but I still get an error:

E: 18:33:07 - Failed to submit lightmap layout [namehere]
E: 18:33:07 - Job submission process failed with a return code of '-1073741515'.

Could someone explain lighting for me? I've read over the wiki and this post and downloaded Python (Whatever that does... ;p) and I get a ton of failures when I click on the Render buttons (example: Failed to find lightmap-atlas info for model...) and the same stuff the OP had the problem with.

Also, if I might add, how do you create a ceiling? I've added the model for it, but I can't slide it around or find it at all. Any help will be appreciated. ;p

The failed to find lightmap-atlas is mostly meaningless, it just means there wasn't a lightmap for an object before.

The ceiling isn't visible because it only has textures on the bottom, if you view it from above it is invisible.

Thank you Driggan. =)

I'm going to create a different post as I will be going offtopic from the OP.
