Orlais really seems possible. But I wouldn't mind seeing more of the Free Marches, or even uniting them, in an expansion.

I would love to travel to the tevinter and really get immersed in that world. Kirkwall and Ferelden weren't all that different, but the landof the magisters would be fascinting.

par vollen and a qunari main character, could be great =D but maybe that's better for a dlc what so ever. you couldn't choose race but you could choose your role in the qun and your gender. love to see that but won't happen sadly =(

my bet is also orlais for dragon age 3

My ideal DA3 has you playing as the Warden again, going to Orlais by request of the king/queen, as they are "the hero of ferelden." So while I would love it if the beginning was in Ferelden and most of it was in Orlais, it would prolly end up being like DA2 with only 10 minutes at the beginning actually being in Ferelden.

On the other hand, if its a new protagonist for DA3, I think they're gonna be from Orlais, doing everything in Orlais.

A mere expansion is insufficient to do Orlais justice.

Sandal did mention the old lady standing by his bed with the scary laugh...it seems guaranteed that Flemeth will be in DA3. If she's visiting Sandal at night, and he and Bodahn are headed for Orlais...connect the dots (assuming the old lady is actually Flemeth).

An expansion in Orlais would dilute the upcoming story, IMO.

Tevinter/Anywhere else + more like Origins = I'll buy two copies, in case I break the other from overuse.

I think people are thinking too small. The conflict obviously spans Thedas, thus I can see DA3 being a much larger story moving between Orlais & Ferelden on the brink of war, Tevinter or Rivain at the front lines of a Qunari agressive act, and The Free Marches (where the Wardens are obviously interested in something, and obviously the flash point of the Circle/Templar/Chantry fighting).

I would love to see a Hawke & Hero team up, but I have a feeling they'll move towards a big show not unlike what they are cooking up with ME3.

I still like my idea of having 2 main characters, one from Tevinter and one from Orlais, depending on what side of the divine you want to support. It's the best of both worlds for players who like one or the other.

I bet with all that happened in Kirkwall has Tevinter seeing some opportunity with the Mage conflict spreading throughout Thedas somehow.
