If you fight fire with a bigger fire, you just get twice as burned

I'm more of an advocate of putting the fires out, thanks.

PS to everyone: The economic, poilitical, and military might of the Turian Hierarchy > one well-informed guy with lots of money and a small army of mooks.

I don't mind buring one rickety old bridge if I get to put something bigger and more badass in its place.

Cerberus is the only one fighting the Reapers and put an end to the Collectors. They're good people.

Well, there's also this one Commander i know of. What was their name again?

And no. Cerberus is not composed of 'good people'. they know that and don't care, which isn't particularly healthy for anybody else

That same Commander who was a corpse en route to the Collectors who was rescued and revived by Cerberus and who followed their intel and strategic planning to stop their plans? That same Commander?

Cerberus are fighting the Reapers and are looking out for humanity's long term interests not the Rachni,Geth,Vorcha or the three stooges on the Council.

You just used the same argument to prove two different points.
Regaurdless of shepard being brought back by them or not, Cerberus isn't the only group preventing reaper doomsday. Fighting or not, what cerberus is doing is by no means 'good'

Shepard and his squadmates were de facto Cerberus agents in ME2.

In fact all Cerberus cheerleader/**** in those forum are just really mad because

a) TIM want Shepard dead in ME3.
B) Anderson kick TIM ass.

If flying around in a Cerberus ship using Cerberus personnel, intel and strategic planning doesn't count as working for them then I don't know what does. Oh and all alternate costumes for everyone besides Jacob and Miranda are Cerberus uniforms.

What Anderson has done, is anything but stupid, in contrast, is bold and clever. This is the result of seeing Cerberus hit that makes you mad. Cerberus has completely weakened, this entity which acts only for its interest in priorities, increase its power any matter the cost, (biotic experiments on humans, super-private human soldier, an army of Rachni developped for its own desire. )

Cerberus was ultimately a good cause, but in reality it is a group that has lost all measure, common sense and rationality now. That's why Miranda left.

Or they don't need selfish self-righteous idiots like Anderson exposing their dirty laundry to the public

Well, it's exposed, so it's a little too late, isn't it?  Better get rid of it before it starts to smell.

Cerberus and the Alliance share the same common goal.  I find it easier to believe if Cerberus proves useful to the Alliance, that the Alliance will secretly approve of them and public deenounce them as a convienent scapegoat

Cerberus wants dominance.  The Alliance wants expansion and stability.  There is a difference between setting up new colonies and trying to make yourself King of the Galaxy.

Why wouldn't Cerberus try to cover their tracks, they prefer to work in the shadows.
Their is nothing wrong with PR but it doesn't mean the reasons behind them are sincere

And this track-covering/PR is precisely why going to the turians wasn't the dumbest idea ever.  Go through the Alliance, and Cerberus knows you're coming.  Go through the turians, and you get to make nice with the guys with the dreadnoughts.

The folks funding Cerberus are the same ones funding the Alliance.
The Alliance was already laying low with Cerberus until Anderson made it public.

That's because only a very few people control the wealth.  And you can lay as low as you want--it's over once you get caught.

Turians won't share the evidence until after the investigation is complete. And the Turians will parade around the galaxy about how they exposed the corrupt AllianceImage IPB

And the corrupt people within the Alliance will be forced from power.  This is a good thing.

Furthermore, please stop acting like the whole Alliance is in bed with Cerberus.  That's like saying, "Congressman Whatever gave money to terrorists under the table, so America supports terrorists!"  No.  Congressman Whatever supports terrorists and America won't be re-electing his ass next term.

likely adt its also likely powerful organizations like Terra Firma will climb to the top and gather huge support from Alliance citizens.
Plus Cerberus can always start a new

Because Terra Firma will totally gain public favor once it's out that they've been funding terrorists. </sarcasm>

I believe your seeing things too black and white.
This is bad for Cerberus, the Alliance, humanity's view on the Turians,  Organized effort against the Reaper invasion, and this could potentially ignite a war with the Alliance and Turians.

Its not good guys stop bad guys everything will be Ok now

This is bad solely for Cerberus and the people who support it.  Cerberus is not the same as the Alliance and sure as hell isn't humanity, despite what TIM might have told you.  Sorry for repeating myself here.

Anyway, it's no more bad for the turians than it would be bad for the French if they caught a terrorist from the UK.  Only hyper-nationalists would be upset.  The rest of the UK would be mildly embarassed at worst and happy a dangerous criminal is locked up at best.

And no, I don't see in black and white.  I just see Cerberus as ultimately dangerous and a black mark on the Alliance.  It's definitely not going to be sunshine and sugarplums now that they've been exposed--obviously they're going to be a helluva thorn in Shepard's side later--but their fate is pretty much sealed.  Cerberus is screwed.

The fact that i'm not a member of cerberus, nor am i following the Illusive Man's order makes me not an agent
also foiling their plans every step of the way makes it hard for me to count myself among their number

So it's just a big coincidence that your Shepard used Cerberus assets and followed through with what TIM tasked him to do? Oh Okay.

I'm starting to see an abusive relationship fostering here with Cerberus.

"If I do good they'll love me again!"

and now I feel bad.

Kidnapping children, torturing babies, killing alliance admirals and the men they lead, Cerberus does a  lot in the name of furthering human biotics, and we should all give them our unquestioning support and gratitude

I love Cerberus without passion. It's more about an "equitable working relationship".

If my judgement was clouded, I'd be propagating a real crackpot theory about how Anderson and Kahlee Sanders have actually been advancing the Reaper goals, ever since Revelation, and that's the main reason Anderson digs under Cerberus all the time.

My Shep what was necessary. Cerberus seemed like they were the only ones preparing for the Reapers. Plus, they brought you back from the dead. I hate them, but I'll use their resources to stop the Collectors, like they wanted me to do. I did, I'm ending this uneasy alliance.

Drew was vague about Anderson or Udina being the Councilor,  but I think Udina was the Councilor

What was at all vague about explicitly stating Udina was Councilor? To quote:

"[Aria] recognized Anderson's name: he was an adviser to Councilor Donnel Udina"

There's also how Anderson is introduced:

"Admiral David Anderson was, above all else, a soldier."

Its not membership so much as uneasy alliance, which, as i said earlier is needed to combat a larger threat. once the reapers are gone, Cerberus is screwed
