No, he doesn't.

I'm not sure what point this is supposed to have made.

That TIM doesn't want to kill Shepard, perhaps?

How does this suggest that?

Guess he just forgot to tell that guy on the left, eh?

Guy on the left is shooting stun rounds. And is aiming for Shep's legs. I can tell by the flash.

Cerberus spy bugs.

Are they spy bugs if he makes no attempt to hide them?  I mean I could understand if we found out after some time that he was spying on us getting upset about it but we can learn 10 seconds after boarding the Normandy that we're being watched.  Kind of like the "is a slave a slave if he doesn't know he's enslaved," question is spying spying if you know you're being watched.

The fact that the trooper is armed with a baton perhaps?  You don't kill someone with a baton (I mean you can but it's messy) you subdue them.  Just a guess.

Meh as someone who's had employers who regularly and openly "spied on" employees (all of us not just me) I'm kind of numb to the whole affair.  Post was just my mind running away from me on semantics.

I'd like to take issue with the several posters who have said something to the effect of "Anderson had no reason to believe Shep". I've just reviewed the scenes.

1- Shep was in a coma for 15 hours and the medical report shows anomalous beta wave activity. Anderson says "the beacon hit you pretty hard". Anderson was there, and under the circumstances Anderson would hardly ignore Shep's visions.
2- What led up to Anderson asking about the visions was that Anderson surmised that Saren's alliance with the Geth has something to do with the beacon. Then he says "you were there just before that beacon self-destructed, did you see anything? any clue that might tell us what Saren was after?" Then Shep corroborates that by confirming that he saw synthetics in the vision: "...Geth maybe. Slaughtering people. Butchering them." Then Anderson responds "we need to report this to the council". Shep expresses doubt that they will listen. Anderson responds:"We don't know what information was stored in that beacon. Lost Prothean technology? Blueprints for some ancient weapon of mass destruction? Whatever it was, Saren took it." He then goes on to say that the attack was an act of war and that Saren has the secrets from the beacon and an army of Geth and a hatred for humanity.
3- The interpretation of the vision changed to the Reaper dynamic, but Anderson was already convinced of the importance of the beacon BECAUSE HE KNOWS SAREN so he went along with the change in interpretation.
4- Saren sure thought someone would believe the vision. When Benezia reported the Eden Prime failures Saren was calm until she said "one of the humans used it" That's what set Saren off and he says "this human must be eliminated".

I think the key to Anderson's belief in Shep AND HIS SQUADMATES is his intimate knowledge of Saren modus operandi

By God Zulu is right! Those rounds the Cerberus hit team is using arn't lethal at all! Look at this photo of a blue muzzle flash!

Errr wait they are burning...

Well how about this one!

First off, most of you aren't in the military, I think you should stop waving capital offence like it's your dong. I''m in the military, and I''m pretty sure saving the world over the interests of your country goes beyond what a soldier is trained to do.
Second, who are you pathetic humans to judge the actions of one man, maybe there are things a bit bigger than the Alliance and Cerberus at stake here. So you're whole Cerberus/Alliance fanboyism is really just beyond silly.
Anderson isn't Shepard, he doesn't know what Cerberus has done except for the bad things, If i was in his positon, I would have done the same thing.
Thirdly, at the end of the novel he saved a boy's life in a paragon interrupt, so quit it with you're whole wishing death upon him like some jihadists.

Anderson won't betray you, Udina has and probably will again and Jack Harper will too.

I agree completely. What did Anderson tell Shepard about Cerberus in ME2? Hmm, looks like he knew what he was talking about. Muthaf***ers can call Anderson whatever they like....the bottom line is HE WAS RIGHT!!! In ME3, I intend to do EVERYTHING possible to completely destroy Cerberus.Posted Image

It baffles me that fascination with treachery is so widespread among the Humans. Maybe the Turians are right after all, and ruling the Galaxy is not our place, as opposed to screwing each other over money and blondes?

I hear what you're saying Zulu but, remember what Admiral Hackett said about Cerberus in "Arrival." For those that didn't play...he said that he would "Play fair.....for now." This indicates that if Cerberus goes to far, he would take action. I think that the only reason he hasn't made a move yet was because they brought Shepard back. It will be interesting to see what Hackett does in ME3 after learning that Cerberus is hunting Shepard. Zulu, my question to you is, if Hackett does decide to make a move against Cerberus....does he deserve to die like you say Anderson does? Does he deserve to be charged with treason?

If you are a soldier, then you should learn that everyone have different opinions and we should respect that, we may not agree with them but at least show some respect to others. I don’t know how you can respect others in real life, where you can’t even respect others within a forum that is discussing about a game. I like Anderson as a character, but still I think your post is pathetic.

Why would Hackett move against Cerberus, the organization that provides him with top notch intelligence, research, operational support, and full deniability?

Why the hell are people hatin on my man Anderson. He exposes corruption, stands up for his species and will go out of his way to protect a little girl from terrorist organizations.

Seriously, Anderson didn't get to be captain of the SR-1 because they wanted someone for Keith David to voice. Anderson is a highly commendated Alliance officer. Shepard is told in Mass Effect 1 that Anderson is the go to guy when you wanted something done right or needed something done with tact.

The fact that you have a captain that is listened to by both an admiral and the HA rep (before end of ME1) is a testament to how trustworthy this guy is. While he doesn't know the whole story between Shepard and Cerberus, he trusts Shepard's judgement and warns him not to trust Cerberus.

We can definitely expect Anderson to remain with Shepard to the end (hope this doesn't bite me in the ****) and to continue supporting him throughout the final chapter.

With that said, I also expect that Anderson will go out in a blaze of glory to ensure Shepard's survival and that we will see and awesome death scene for him.
