The writers were trying way too hard to provide any reason at all to make people think the Templars' side was actually worth choosing. The idiot mages in DA2 who turn into abominations anytime someone says "Boo!" are a direct result of that.

Inception DA2 joke pic

I love the Inception take on it, if the BW Devs actually take that lesson, fix the many flaws, and make a kick-ass expansion for the game, I could definitely see the Dragon Age 2 name redeemed. Heck, I'd be able to defend my favorite(although less so now, after DA2) game developer when arguing with others about the Dragon Age series.

It would be nice if the op could edit in that very clear line of instruction, as well as maybe similar ones for how to make a "Motivational".  In the poll thread I saw where one poster said they felt inspired.  There are probably others who feel that way, but are not used to doing these.
