Either way, that does not undo the fact that these images are funny.

The "Immune!" signs in the pictures are not edited in they are from the game. They show up where damage numbers are missing if you have "show minor combat details" on (interface settings). Human groups are all immune to one element. In Act 1 for instance the high town gang is immune to cold and the lowtown and the dock gang immune to nature. Then there are predictable or at the very least consistent immunities like how demons are immune to spirit damage, qunaris immune to fire and lightning and mabaris immune to fire. How animals prey on each other in Thedas one can only speculate because all wild animals are immune to nature damage, as are the dalish and city elves. Dwarves are the only ones that seem to lack immunities.

The 8-ball is harsh but sometimes it will surprise you with kindness. Like with the petrified golems. Can you imagine how Shale would have felt had she been made brittle by a squishy mage?

When you play on Nightmare mode, every single creature is immune to something, at least one of the elements.

And many are also immune to certain non-elemental spell types like Sleep, Paralysis, etc.
