A book with artwork costs money!
A map of the world costs money!
All that other stuff costs money!
They can't waste their money on such useless stuff when it should be invested into the "Button = Awesome" project!

DA2 > 59.99 € (79.55$) with bonus pack pre-order
Enjoy of playing each game is indirectly proporcional to its prize in mathematical words.
No... Bioware can't spend money because EA has hidden password of DA's cash from them...
What would Anders say about this real unjustice? Please, Justice, I trust our revenge in your hands and make bum the Chantry of mega-abusers-Associated of faithfull-players!!!
Bioware and the players of its games deserve a little more of respecte from that coorp. Ok, money is money, but all you sale today over its real prize it will be the next failure buisness.

A little bit of quality from DA2, and with that I repeat, EA lost a real great chance to do an unforgotten game. they had a raw material with DAO to do it... They still can do it with next DLCs.. if they want.

Yes, but there's also a lot of excuses for make him come back: Justice could deal in Fade with Feyrnel, or a hidden blood magic could recover a little bit of his blood... or even Flemeth could do the micracle again!!! Thedas is a land of magic, DA a source of it.. why close and lock any imaginative solution?
We did it at DAO with Andraste's ashes, or Morrigan's final spell... why not?

@Blau ~ You forgot the Lazerus Project, seems (to me atleast) Bioware spend way too much time trying to bring their dead characters back to life.

They let anything and anyone into Kirkwall these days, not surprising shes a bit annoyed but tbh blood mages are the least of her concerns when tellitubbies emigrate/invade.

Well, at least they're all "HUG! HUG! HUG!" and not "EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!" like the Daleks.

NATHANIEL
Once there was a time when I believed,
Without hesitation,
That the power of love and truth could conquer all,
Even if they take you to Kirkwall,
In the name of salvation.
Tell me what kind of weapon is love when it comes to the fight?
And just how much protection is truth against all Money's might?
BETHANY
There must be something worth living for,
There must be something worth trying for,
Even some things worth dying for,
And if one player can stand tall,
There must be some hope for us all, DA followers.
Somewhere, somewhere in the spirit of EA owners.
People loved you and trusted you, Bioware, came to you for help.

Where did the "Awesome!" mockery come from? Did a bioware dev ever state something like that?
As already linked, Mike Laidlaw did. That'll teach him to say words the next time!

No, it was not Mike Laidlaw. It was David Silverman:

They both did. Mike's version was "something cool happens"
