Really, it's all you guys, dirty, jealous pc players and otherwise, that motivate me to keep playing the game, and keep thinking of new ways to break it. If it weren't for all of you, I would've quit a very long time ago. My fans are the greatest, and also have the best taste, bar none. Ladies, you already know, men, it's not gay if it's AreleX. Proven by science.

What brought this sappiness about? I Iogged into my Youtube account, saw that I had 70 videos, and wondered what the hell possessed me to play this game so much. I then thought to the smiling little faces of all my DA2 children, and it all made sense.

AreleX, you have been a good inspiration. I see what you do in this guide and I try to see if I can't replicate it on the pc, in my own way. Updating the guide would be a good thing, and if it helps, you are the only one to convince me to play blood mage >.>

Having issues getting rogues out of stealth. This is the third encounter since getting in to the force spec that I have attempted it and it's not working. I use Fist of the make when I see them do their jump kick, fails, then attempt to use pull of the abyss to try to burn up their stealth time and that fails to hit them too. (I know it's failing to hit them because they manage to hit one of my mages within a moment of it going off, when the rogue was absolutely in range of it.) This is seriously frustrating.

Look in my Mage tutorial thread. There are videos demonstrating how to do it, and discussion about the mechanics that go into making it possible. How applicable they are to post-patch, I don't know, but it should be EASIER to pull Rogues out of stealth now, not harder.

So I just fought another elite rogue just now. Once again, he managed to get out of my Fist of the Maker, (The area was so small, the AoE covered the entire spot), I then used CoC with backs against the wall, and the rogue popped up where all of the AoEs hit.

Something is bugged. I am 100% sure both of these AoEs were landing right on the rogue's head.The rogue literally had no area to work outside of my AoE coverage and he, once again, popped up just a second after spamming these AOEs.

it's all about timing. you want to wait for their invulnerable period to end. After reading Arelex's mage tutorial maybe try reading my how-to-deal-with-assassins guide in my sig. It somewhat explains it. Because I don't think it's bugged. In fact I've noticed that post patch the enemies get destealthed ridiculously easy.

I'm pretty sure I stealthed and the puff cloud of smoke knocked an assassin out of stealth. pretty lame tbh. :/

Is there any way to control AoE spells on PC like in the videos?
One of the main pains (at least for me) of playing as mage is aiming spells, because they lock onto wrong enemies (and therefore, tank or dog) and are severly limited by very unfriendly camera (oh, how I miss maximal zoom out from DAO)

it's absolutely insane, the fights i put in the vid are actually the LONGER ones, because most i recorded were over almost instantly

i didn't even get a chance to do my blood slave dance and setup slave bombs with anders
